Bought my first gaming laptop. Nitro 5 AN515-58.
Its the i7 12th gen with 4060 8gb and 144hz display. Before this ive had ultrabooks and this is a massive upgrade.

I saw a lot of anti nitro 5 posts about the cpu burning out due to high temps. I ran cinebench multicore test an umm- yeah you guys can see the images.

I need help with what to avoid, how to handle this and what I should do. Does this need thermal pasting for cpu and gpu or will it stay the same? It didnt crash or hand or anything during the 10 min multicore test and furmark.

Edit: the nitro sense graph in the image in on almost idle usage. Only windows resetting is running in the background and room temp is 25 degrees

Hi gamers and technicians, I'm looking to replace my old thinkbook 14 with a better laptop. I've been eyeing this Asus Tuf F15 with 3070 in used condition and I'm getting it for a really good buck.

Here are the specs: i7 12th Gen 12650H, 16 GB DDR5 RAM, 2 NVMe installed (256 GB and 1 TB), NVIDIA RTX 3070 8GB.

I'm getting this for 215k PKR, which is around $750 including the keyboard they are giving away. Some people might say it's not really cheap but in my country laptops are expensive and 3070 laptops with these specs will cost close to 300 PKR which is like $1100 USD.

Just wanted to know if the issue is just an Asus software issue which can be fixed easily or is there something far worse with the keyboard which might need keyboard replacement or motherboard issue?

• Samsung 9100 Pro 2TB (PCIe 5.0 NVMe): $349.99 (down from a $499 street price earlier in the year). 5-year warranty, the kind of drive you carry build to build. Real low.
• EGO POWER+ 21" self-propelled mower: $599.99 (was ~$749 list). Battery platform you keep adding to for years. Lowest it's hit.
• Ecovacs Deebot T90 Pro Omni: $499 (was $899.99). If you buy a robot vac, buy one that empties itself and mops. 45% off and it's the true all time low.
• Ninja SLUSHi: $199.99 (was $349.99). a slushie machine isn't a traditional BIFL "kitchen necessity," but Ninja built this with their heavy-duty residential motor and it's been a massive hit. Under $200 is its true floor price—a real $150 drop.
• AirPods Max 2: $399 (was $549). Pricey, but people keep these 5+ years. Lowest I've seen.
• CMF Buds Pro 2: ~$37. Silly good value earbuds, ANC is fine. If you need a budget pair (gym/backup/teens) that doesn't feel like e-waste, these are my personal favorites at their all time lowest price.
• Vitamix immersion blender bundle: $143.99 (was ~$199). Vitamix, so it'll outlast three cheap stick blenders. Great low price, but isn't really a prime deal (don't get fooled):
• Mova V50 Ultra: $659. Technically its all-time low, but the chart shows it bled down slowly from $1,399 at launch over a full year. It's only $40 under last month. That's a slow slide, not a sale, and it's still drifting down. No reason to rush.
• Bose QuietComfort Headphones: $179.99. "Lowest in 30 days" but it lives between $179 and $359 all year. $179 is just its normal price. The $359 list is the inflated part.

tl;dr don't buy off the discount badge, buy off the history.

I do this slightly obsessive thing where I run a python script over reddit threads to find what people actually recommend, then check the price history before buying so I don't get suckered. Did it for gift guides before, doing it for robot vacs now since this is the category that gets price-gamed the hardest imo.

The inflation on vacuums is wild. A $1,499.99 list price the thing has basically never sold at, then a "$650 off!" badge that just drags it back to the normal street price. So I checked the actual 1-year history on the popular ones. Real picture:

Actually at an all-time low right now:

• Ecovacs Deebot T90 Pro Omni: $499 (was $899.99). Best value of the bunch imo. Self-empty + mop wash at that price is tough to beat.
• Roborock Qrevo CurvX: $849.99 (down from $1,499.99 list). Current price = lowest in the last year.
• Narwal Flow 2: $1,049.99 (down from a $1,499.99 list it's basically never hit). Lowest it's been. The roller mop is the real draw.
• roborock Saros 20: $1,359.99 ($240 below list). If you want the top-end one, it's been pinned at $1,600 for months, so this is a real cut.

Looks like a deal, but isn't:

• Mova V50 Ultra: $659. It IS the all-time low, but the 1-year chart shows a slow bleed from $1,399 at launch down to here. It's only $40 under last month and still drifting. Not a Prime Day cut, just where the price landed. If you want it, fine, but there's no clock on it.
• Mova P70 Pro Ultra: $679. Only dropped from $799 a few days ago, and it's a newer model still finding its price. $120 off a recent price isn't much. I'd wait and watch this one.
• Shark AI Ultra: $249.99 (was ~$455). Looks catchy but its been close to this price several times a year.

It does have 512gb nvme ssd but I have to take it out due to a lot of personal files and stuff.

Condition wise it's 9/10. No cracks or anything just the track pad has some wear and tear which is shown in the 2nd last pic, works fine but is a bit rough.

Will be complete straight forward with 1 minor issue that 4-6 keys of the keyboard are faulty. Not permanent but sometimes they stop working and other times they are working fine. Will give the Corsair K65 vengeance keyboard for free with this.

The price is negotiable just a bit as it's already priced reasonable. You just need to add an SSD and you are good to go. Looking to sell it urgently so will be sold to any good offer.

What’s Best gift you’ve given a dad who says he doesn’t want anything?

Hi, I'm looking to buy a used M15 R3 but I'm unsure if it's a good deal.

Specs are i7 10th, 16gb ram and 256 gigs ssd. It has a 1080p 144hz display and 2070 super..

Only 2 issues are that the Alienware logo led and power button led is not working. The power button itself is working. The person claims that the Alienware logo led works sometimes when the laptop is restarted. So I don't know if that's a big issue to watch out for?

He is giving it away for 150k PKR which is around $550. So is it a good deal and the LED issue isn't a big red flag or should I show it to a repair guy?

Hey everyone, I have this Corsair M65 Pro RGB mouse and while scrolling downwards it makes this sound which makes it really weird to use. Other buttons and up scroll everything is okay and doesn't make any sounds. I tried cleaning it but it's still the same, should I open it up and check inside?
