AITA for being annoyed with my sibling’s “favors” for his rental properties which feel more like a job

For context: bro owns 3 rental properties. Unexpectedly, moved to another state for a serious relationship. comes home only when he needs to travel for work which is once every few months.

I live about 20+ minutes 1 -way from all his properties.
As a result, he asks me to do favors for them.
only paid me once when I made a sarcastic “you’re welcome”’ comment when he didn’t even say thank you for spending my whole afternoon helping out .

Lately I felt overwhelmed .
I’ve been asked to :
-Drop in the apartment to check on it during winter storm
-let in cleaners, wait for them to finish and lock up after them at 7am on my day off.
- set up some new blinds.
-give the keys to the tenant when it’s time for them to move in.

I know once the tenant moves in the end of the month it will probably calm down. But once a tenant ends their lease this will probably start all over again because he still has 2 other properties.

He’s my brother. We’re not bestfriend close but we’re close enough to help each other and work together to take care of our elderly parents. He gave me $10,000 for a down payment and helped secure me get double grants for my first condo. I appreciated it and feel like I owe him. But at the same time it feels so unfair..

I’ve recently suggested getting a lock box which saved me a trip here and there. but there’s certain situations he wants me to still go in person.

I just feel sick to my stomach . He’s not the easiest person to talk to and he’s very stubborn and all he sees is $$$. So when I suggested selling his place he got upset.

Parents choose to stay home. Other family disagrees. How to handle?

My dad has started having balance issues, weakness in one side, and memory issues. I recently found out he also has incontinence issues which they haven’t told me but I found the diapers.
He’s going to physical therapy and my mom exercises with him at home.

However, his brother’s side of the family sees a different picture. They think he’s sick because he chooses to stay home and doesn’t go anywhere or see people.

I agree social interactions will help but I’ve accepted that I can’t change their mind. I can’t physically drag him to go anywhere they don’t want to go. I’ve argued with my mom countless times to change their lifestyle but they refuse .

My uncle harassed me in church and literally told me I’m “keeping him like a caged bird. If he dies, I won’t go to his funeral”

I’m sure this weekend when I see them again they’re going to ask about my parents and harass me again.

Not sure what to say or how to handle it or shut it down

Primer with Super goop Tinted Sunscreen?

Hey! Does anyone here wear primer with their super goop tinted sunscreen?

I was using Elf Power Grip primer and noticed it separates around my mouth. I struggle with his a lot with my makeup.

When i don’t wear the Power Grip Primer , it stays on pretty well on a normal day.

But I want to figure out how to make the makeup last For a Sunny day out like the beach? I know I’m going to sweat so I don’t think not wearing primer is a good idea…I think…

Any advice? What primer goes well with your tinted sunscreen?

AirTag on bike?

My fiancé and I live in a condo so we have limited storage.
Condo offers free bike racks located in the parking garage. Since the parking garage has a lot of traffic I was thinking of putting a AirTag on my bike. (And bike locks ofc)

I see things on Amazon you can put the AirTag in. Like on a bell for the bike or a water bottle holder. I never had an AirTag before and I haven’t bought it yet. Apparently it beeps. If my bike gets stolen, I wouldn’t want the person to remove the AirTag if they hear it beeping.

Should I still get it anyway?

Initial issue: Dishwasher starts but doesn’t do any washing. Skips to draining and drying cycle.

Appliance tech said: issue is circulator pump and charges $444 (which includes his dispatch fee) the piece he’s ordering is $164

His option: fix it cuz cheaper than getting a new dishwasher and having it installed.

Unsure: if I should just get a new dishwasher or dish out the $$ to have him fix it. I’m just so surprised cuz it’s only 2 years old.

Specs: dishwasher is supposedly new when I moved in after buying my condo. Just close to 2 years old now.

According to research based on my model:

It’s a budget dishwasher

And circulator pump failing is #1 repair for this model…$444 for it to happen again?!?

🫠🫠🫠😩😩😩 unsure what to do

This month I’ve been catching myself in situations that I wish I handled differently.

I’m really upset with myself with how many of it there have been.

I definitely am learning lessons and hope that next time if it happens again I’ll speak up for myself .

I’m 31F, and I’m trying to stop people pleasing, create boundaries, and stand up for myself
