A member of the Deir al-Balah municipal council is calling for the expulsion of displaced people and subjecting them to racist and degrading treatment.
Following a conflict with displaced people who had taken refuge in schools, the Deir al-Balah municipality is seeking to vacate the schools in preparation for resuming education. However, the municipality has not provided a suitable alternative, proposing instead the establishment of a camp in an area near the yellow area east of Deir al-Balah.
