I can understand if someone says they don’t like it or don’t find it enjoyable. Thats normal to have a preference, but this show gets hated so damn much it’s almost like a fucking angry mob after it. It makes no sense.

Ive seen 4 seasons of it and it’s fun. I still don’t see the issue. Is it like the greatest thing ever? Nah but it doesn’t have to be for it to be enjoyable. I like the characters and the situations they are in. I also find it kinda refreshing from other rom coms. This one’s clearly a slow burn taking its time to marinate and cook and I’m okay with that. A rom com doesnt always have to deliver the pay off immediately.

Even if someone says they don’t like it, I still don’t think it’s worthy of such hatred. I’ve definitely seen way worse shows than this for sure.

I played the MW4 beta when it was active and I really enjoyed it. It’s been years since I felt like playing cod and this game felt great. The gunplay was solid and I loved the maps.

I’m thinking of playing it when it’s out, but will it be included with gamepass or not since I had heard that Xbox slashed the price of gamepass and removed new cod games from its library. Is that true?

I had heard complaints that you only play as starlord and that you don’t get play as the other guardians which I thought too why didnt they let you do that, but once I started playing this game I realised why. This gameplay system is so satisfying.

It feels like a JRPG almost with the way you choose between which guardians abilities are the most effective for this particular situation.

My strategy at the start of an encounter was gather up enemies using rockets grenade, get in close and launch starlords ice AoE attack and then finish them off with groots branches. This gameplay loop became so addictive I kept replaying missions and did this over and over even after beating the game.

Been playing FGs for months now and one recurring problem across all the games I’ve played is not being able to recover from a mistake.

Idk why this happens but once my plan goes to shit I lose confidence in my ability to recover from that. It’s like I have to get it right now or it’s all over which is absurd given that it’s not possible to play perfectly all the time or even most times, but my mind refuses to accept that.

Thats the skill of pro players I envy the most. Their ability to recover even from a brutal punish is what I wanna learn.

HOLY SHIT is it good. I have never played these games or had any idea what it is about besides the name, but damn this game rocks. Idk if it'll be as good all the way through, but the gameplay is sublime. Better than sekiro, better than tsushima and better than any other samurai game ive ever played.

The boss fights are also badass. There were only 2 in the demo and both of them kicked ass. The cutscenes look fantastic too and i like the protagonist. Rn ive got my backlog of games and im also out of money so i wont be getting this now but once im reimbursed and out of games this is definitely gonna be on my radar.

IGN gave it a 10/10 and usually i dont give a fuck about reviews and play whatever i find interesting, but from this demo i kinda understand now.

So far in this game I can say bullet is the only character I’ve gotten pretty decent with and feel very comfortable playing as her. She is very upclose and aggressive which I like and her moves are pretty much on the tip of my fingers.

Now I’m thinking I wanna try a new character. I’m not looking for permanent change since I still wanna keep playing as bullet, but I’d like to have another character under my belt I can be decent at.

So i tried a bunch of different characters and Carl was the one that I eventually stumbled upon. Now I’ve already heard hes known for being one of the most demanding characters in this game and that hes unforgiving which made me think I’m not gonna like playing as him. And for the first 10 minutes I didn’t cause I had no idea what to do with that puppet. You hold D and it moves with you and i assumed you have to hold it down and then do the moves which sounded insane like how the hell am I supposed to do that while being hammered with attacks?

But then I played some more and realised that is not what you do. You can just do the regular QCF or HCF input’s without having to hold the D button and then it started to make sense. Not only that if you time it correctly with your combos it can feel like you’re playing a tag fighter where you call in an assist every now and then to extend your combos. Thats where I started to actually like Carl. I started to tinkering with moves seeing what all I can chain together with the puppets moves and did that for about 2 hours and yeah I think I enjoy Carl.

Now with that said this is only in training against a dummy so I’ve yet to really try it against a real opponent and I already know whats gonna happen. I’m gonna get destroyed like a few dozen times it’s inevitable. This happens with every time I’ve picked a new character in any game, so that is not what I’m concerned about cause it takes time for me to get used to a new character. So at least for a whole week I’m just gonna train, practice and build muscle memory.

What I wanna know is like how much trouble am I in for in the long run? I know the mantra is always “if you find the character cool and fun then just keep playing” and that is partly why I wanna ignore the hype and give Carl a chance cause I do like his gameplay. How much homework will I need to do before I can start actually playing as him properly?

I’ve never really cared about playing the most optimally
or being able to do like impossibly hard combos. Mine is always just learn a few BnBs, keep my fundamentals in check and always play Intentionally and with bullet it’s pretty easy to do that now cause her gameplay is so simple get down. So with Carl can I also play like that? Not like bullet but like having a simple gameplan in mind and trying to apply it cause in my head I’m thinking hes way more demanding than bullet and I’ll need to play like those high level players do with their crazy ass setups and combos cause thats the only correct way to play as him.

So ive been playing this for a few weeks now and i do love it, but man playing against these combo smashing behemoths is getting frustrating as hell especially when i have no idea what to do. Like half the time im just spectating and the other half im mashing buttons even when i dont want to.

Ive tried a few different characters and i was kinda lost there as to who to main. I started with amane then i tried azrael then i tried es and now im playing as bullet. I need to stick to one character and ive decided i wanna play as bullet, so from here on out im not gonna swap to any different character anymore.

It also doesnt help the fact i just switched to a leverless and adapting to it is taking longer than i anticipated.

So what to do next? Where exactly do i start trying to figure things out cause repeatedly playing against OP player is not helping in the slighest. You would assume maybe the longer you play the better you get but nah that hasnt worked at all, so i need a plan. Anything really at this point.

I really wanna enjoy this game and not throw in the towel yet,. Its real fuckin good but i dont just wanna be a spectator in my own matches anymore.

So it’s been over a week since I got my leverless and for the most I’ve adapted to it but the one area I’m having trouble with is doing QCF supers from P2 side and QCB supers from P1 side. Because it uses the middle finger and the ring finger to do it I’m having a really hard time being able to consistently and rapidly tap them.

Is this a muscle memory thing that eventually gets fixed the more I keep playing and practicing or is there way to make it easier?

Now for context I’m not a pro at FG. I would consider myself a mid tier player who knows the fundamentals but lacks consistency. I’m gold in SF6 and Destroyer in T8 and silver 2 in GGS(although I only have like 15 hours in that game and I haven’t played it much so that could be it). So I’m not looking to be like an advanced player but just a competent one who knows what he’s doing and isnt playing randomly.

Anime fighters have always been great to play casually cause they look amazing and play really smooth but are insanely complicated when even attempting to play online and I’ve never found one that I really wanted to invest some time into and get good at it. Strive was the first one that I liked and found approachable.

But lately I thought of trying these anime fighters again and steam sale was going so I decided to get GG +R, Melty blood, Granblue and BB CF and the one game I kept coming back to was BB. It looks phenomenal, musics amazing and theres a decent amount of players playing which I was surprised to see. And most importantly its gameplay feels so smooth and responsive.

I really love the character amane and shes the one I’m thinking of maining.

As of rn I’ve played a dozen or so matches but lost all of them. I seem to kinda understand how to play but I still am not fully sure what exactly im doing here.

Is there a guide that can help me understand its mechanics cause I’m having some confusion with it?

Honestly this might be the game that makes me actually get into anime fighters and I wanna invest some time in it to learn it properly so any help would be appreciated.

So I finally took the plunge and ordered myself a leverless. I had an arcade stick before this which was a really entry level one and it was not very good. It was too small and was hurting my hands, so I stopped using it.

All the leverless controllers i found online were expensive but I found this one for cheap and decided to get it. It should arrive in like 2 weeks so
I’m very excited to use it.

Until it arrives, I wanna know what was your experience first time using a leverless. How complicated did you find it and how long did it take to get used to it? Some folks I’ve heard say it took them a while to get used to while some others said they got used to quickly. I feel like I can get used to it quickly but at the same time I’m also thinking maybe it won’t be as simple as I am thinking in my head.

And is it your preferred controller option for fighting games now or do you like to still use a controller or a stick? Did you notice any improvements to your gameplay with it?
