You can't control what you can't measure. A fitbit for the jaw is truly needed to offer data on grinding & clenching habits. Any thoughts?

i feel like of all the wearable tech, nothing truly covers the data im looking for when it comes to my bruxism.

Night guards protect your teeth, but they’re dumb. We’re building the check engine light for teeth grinding and clenching.

We’re a U.S.-based startup working on a problem that millions of people deal with but rarely understand and that's teeth grinding and clenching at night.

Most sleep wearables give you general data like sleep scores, movement, heart rate, or recovery. But if you wake up with jaw pain, headaches, worn-down teeth, or feel exhausted even after a full night of sleep, that general data usually doesn’t explain what actually happened.

The current solution is usually a night guard. And while night guards are important because they protect your teeth, they don’t tell you anything. They’re more like a shield than a source of insight.

We’re exploring a tracker built specifically for nighttime grinding and clenching. The goal is to help people better understand what’s happening while they sleep, how often they grind or clench, how intense it may be, and whether certain habits or lifestyle changes make things better or worse over time.

Is this something you suffer from and feel like you want to know what you do at night that makes you wake up feeling so unrefreshed and exhausted?

Does anyone else just wish they knew what their jaw was doing at night?

I was diagnosed with TMJ in my right disc, and it turns out it’s because of years of untreated grinding and clenching that got even worse with stressful life events.

But even now, every night, it feels like it happens more and more. Even with a night guard, I’m just questioning what’s actually going on.

Does anybody else wish they understood what exactly was going on throughout the night? Like, I want to see something, data, whatever it may be, to help me understand exactly what my jaw was doing all night.

It feels like that part of my life is missing information. Besides knowing that yes, I grind or clench. Okay, fine. But I want to see data on this. I want to understand it.

Does anyone else relate to this?

We Track Sleep Scores. But Not Teeth Grinding or clenching?

Millions of adults in the U.S. suffer from nighttime teeth grinding and jaw clenching (sleep bruxism).

Wearables like Whoop, Oura, and Fitbit already exist, but they mostly provide broad wellness data, sleep scores, recovery metrics, HRV, stress tracking, without giving people specific, actionable insights into grinding and clenching throughout the night.

For a problem that affects so many people, there still isn’t a dedicated solution focused on understanding and tracking sleep bruxism itself.

What are everyone’s thoughts on a dedicated sleep bruxism tracker that provides users with data and insights specifically designed to help them understand and act on their nighttime grinding and clenching?

People who grind or clench their teeth in their sleep, what’s it like waking up every morning? Do you see an effect on your sleep data?

Any thoughts on sleep bruxism? 31% of us adults tend to suffer from this. Any medical professionals that can offer thoughts on this?
