Was Part 2 a mess compared to everything else he made? Yeah, unfortunately. But I still had fun from beginning to end with every single project he's ever made.
17-26 is amazing, Fire Punch is damn near perfect in my opinion, Look Back and Goodbye Eri just straight-up ARE perfect (in my opinion), and I've never fallen in love with a manga the way I did when I picked up Chainsaw Man for the first time.
I know Fujimoto gets slandered for how he handled Part 2, especially the ending. And yeah, that's very true. Compared to his other works, it's pretty bad. But honestly, I wasn't thinking about any of that while I was reading it. I was just having fun reading a story I've loved for years. Did I like the ending on my first read? No, I didn't. But I grew to like it more after some rereading over the past few months.
I'll always love Fujimoto's works, even with whatever flaws that may come with it. Because at the end of the day, he's an author and an artist who's made some of my favorite pieces of fiction ever.
it just hits different and the edits are so fucking hard

Might be the best Carnage design ever. The asymmetrical black clashes with the red beautifully and makes him look like a black symbiote that's drenched in blood, his weapons look sick, his extremely jagged hip bones look cool as shit, and his Super has him turn into a giant shark. Chef's kiss.
Skeleton Unohana (Bleach) - A skeleton with thin long hair and fancy kimono swinging a whipsword. What's not to love?
This specific frame of Illumi (Hunter X Hunter) - Shading on the face, only one visible eye with a tiny block dot staring straight at Hisoka, wild-looking hair; nightmare fuel look that I wish we saw more.
The Merger Curse (Jujutsu Kaisen) - Giant cursed spirit built like a centipede with a human-looking head and long frizzy hairs running down it's back. The fact that it's in shadow makes it even creepier.
This specific Sukuna panel (also JJK) - All black with light shading on the tattoos is already cool, but then Gege gave him the wild hair and the crazy-looking effect on his eyeballs. Imposing, intimidating, and cool as hell.
Monster Toga (My Hero Academia) - Malformed body of a woman made up of tendons and muscles with a distorted, uncanny version of Toga's normal face. It looks haunting, nightmarish, and pretty much every other possible synonym you can name.
Very educational/in-depth creator and VERY hilarious, also has some LEGENDARY thumbnails bro
(also you have no idea how hard it was finding a clip of this nigga cuz he has so many good ones)
Simply making the skin darker is rather counter-intuitive, cuz it's just basic tone shifting at that point, and it's a lazy and disrespectful (to both cultures) way to go about making edits/fanarts. If you're gonna make a character black, respecting the culture you're attempting to portray is important, and requires more effort than just making the skin color darker. Meaning ACTUALLY GIVE THEM FEATURES AND QUALITIES OF A BLACK PERSON, so I always love it when I see edits and fanarts like these where the characters actually LOOK like black people instead of looking like offensive caricatures. (Also, just making the skin darker is just mid and uncreative, so the extra mile these artists go to is very appreciated.)

not posting this on the main sub cuz Luna hate seems to be a big no-no over there.
Karl Kroenen (Hellboy) - Superpowered Nazi with one of the best fits of all time and swords that come out of his hands
Doma (Demon Slayer) - Sociopathic cannibal with an awesome ice powers and charismatic personality
Kaido (One Piece) - Drug trafficker, enslaver, and ruthless warmonger that can turn into a big-ass dragon
Overhaul (My Hero Academia) - Child experimentalist and drug dealer with one of the coolest Quirks in the series and a badass design
Naoya Zen'in (Jujutsu Kaisen) - Misogynist and implied sex offender with a douchey personality and my favorite Cursed Technique in the series (and is also a foil for my favorite character, Maki)
i love these fucking guys bro
