I’d spotted it accross the street but waited to give someone else the chance. Nobody stopped, so I claimed it before the garbage truck arrived.
It needed to be deep cleaned, and I did paint touch ups but it’s overall in good condition. I’m sure I'll find a taker for a reasonable price.
Note: I have the tray, It has not been cleaned yet.
I spotted it while doing a small detour, due to construction on a nearby street. The hand crank is busted and there’s no bag but the deck is sound. I have the push walking version of this mower, also from the curb, with a rough deck but a good engine. I’ll swap the cranks, see if the engine has compression and, if not, an engine swap.
I hope I didn’t miss anything.

We’ve had this tree in our backyard for almost 40 years and I still don’t know what it is :-/
Note: It is not an Honey Locust, it does not produce pods.
I have not tested it yet but the last 2 worked fine, so, fingers crossed.
This is as obscure as they come. An Australian children series about a young boy who tries to solve the mystery of his ghost friend who died in mysterious circumstances over a 100 years ago. For years, I had vague flashbacks of this show but couldn't identify it. I finally did this evening :D
I thrifted both. The guard was part of lot with no less than 19x 1ft aluminum L edge trims. After measuring the diameter of the mount, I figured that it would fit adequately. As for the trims, I ended up using them as garage shelves guardrails, after my Pop suggested it. *thumbs up
Bag missing & carb needs to be rebuilt. Great condition tho, the cleanest mower I’ve found on the curb. Gee, I haven’t even washed it yet.
Cleaned & fins straightened. Ready to use.
My city is installing new sewers & water pipes, on a nearby street, and they cut an apple-tree that was in the way. One of a handful of trees that had survived the arborist’s chainsaws, after they an Emerald Ash Borer epidemic. I was hoping I could save it by planting these tiny apples.
These filing marks look out of place on an otherwise well finished machine. Also, the little notch that holds the dial into position is very thin and at an angle. A Monday morning at the factory or some repair from a shop?
