Could I ask you to pray for me during this illness please?

Severe viral throat infection, I am in so much pain and have barely slept all week. I thank you all for thinking of me ❤️

Do you ever get used to the lack of warmth?

I'm really sick right now and wasn't safe to drive to the urgent care, so I asked my husband (dx and rx). His reply? 'I guess I could do that.'

Mate, what? Your wife can barely talk and that's your response? I'm so tired of this, it makes me feel horrible. I need warmth and care in my life.

DAE experience horrible nausea coming off Slynd?

I stopped it today after 2 months, didn't take my dose and I was feeling great! Until about 4pm, I had an online class and I could just feel the blood drain from my face and my body broke out into a cold sweat, like I was about to be sick.

It's the only thing I can attribute it to, I just didn't think any withdrawal symptoms would happen so quickly.

Has anyone else experienced this? Thank you.

The Tyrant in RE: 0 is the scariest

Just watching a let's play for old time's sake, l find them soothing when I'm not feeling the best.

Anyway, yes, the Tyrant in 0 is my favourite design. The split back, the gore, the animations- absolutely terrifying. Poor Rebecca!

There's a line right before this fight as well that made me realise we really do need a remake. Enrico says to Rebecca, 'there's a mansion nearby that Umbrella uses for research', but none of the STARS members knew that until they get to the lab at the end of 1. So, bit of a plot hole there.

Also, it's such a beautiful game. I love the aesthetic of 0 and Remake 1 on the Cube. Unreal little machine it was, I have so many fond memories.

Thanks for coming to my Ted talk, as the cool kids say!

I would like to express gratitude for the peace I feel right now

Nothing is certain, it has been a very rough few weeks and years, but I feel oddly calm right now. It is so welcome to have peace in my mind.

I'm thankful for you all in this community, thank you for having me.

I wish you all a restful sleep, a manageable day, and many little moments of peace.

Just a shout out to my best boy

I am chronically ill and really not doing well at the moment. He just came down to the bedroom and chilled. Didn't want pets, didn't need anything, just absolutely chilling with me.

Then he leapt up and alerted me to a spider on the wall. He comes when I call him and is always there for me.

I love him so much ♥️

I just want to express gratitude

My beloved Mum visited me again in my dream last night. It's been a long time but I know for sure it was her.

I was in a busy Japanese market browsing and nerding out over all my favourite video game merch, when suddenly, there she was - her gentle presence right beside me. I felt it before I saw her. I looked up and there she was, standing in front of me. That knowing, gentle smile. That comforting, angelic warmth.

I said, 'it's you!' and we put our arms around each other. I felt totally encompassed by her love, as I always did when she held me.

I've been going through a very difficult time lately and I've been praying to her and all my angels for help and guidance.

She showed up.

I am just so grateful. Thank you, Mum. I'll continue to pray and talk to you and all the angels. Thank you for helping me.

I love you ♥️

Positive experiences with Paxil, please

I've been on Lexapro for years, it's treated me well but I think it's stopped working.

I'm considering switching to Paxil and have an appointment with my psychiatrist on Friday.

Has anyone made the switch before? I love Lexapro but I'm tired of these dips that I cannot seem to climb out of.

Bad Day

I am having a very fucking bad day.

I'm in constant pain and it's really bad today. I made my husband a special breakfast and asked him to take everything out when the air fryer beeped while I showered. No problem. Everything was set for him. I come back out 15 minutes later and there's smoke in the kitchen. I asked him to do ONE thing.

My dog will not stop crying. She wants to be around my husband all the time. We can't leave her alone for 5 seconds, she cries and has accidents. She's old, I've spoken to the vet, we're doing everything we can for her. It's just constant. The noise. The in and out the side door.

Having to tell my husband to do every little thing otherwise he won't do it. I told him my pain and mood was really bad today and still, off he fucked out to his shed and locked the door to talk to his brother about AI. Left me with the dog, who was inconsolable.

My pain meds are limited, so I have to count how many I have so I don't run out early. I am so entirely fed up. Fed. Up. Constantly picking up after him. Constantly reminding him to do stuff. To shower. If I don't get us food, he doesn't eat then wonders why he feels like shit. What did you do before I came along?????? Before you had a magic laundry fairy and a woman who looks after your every need despite her own.

I just want to cry. I have no one to talk to.

Dear Mods, can we have flair please?

I'd love for us to be able to customise our flair, or have flair for Counties and our various Conditions.

For me, that'd be: Donegal, Endo

I think it would help us feel more connected to each other.

Grma 😊

What do you do with someone who isn't necessarily aware that they're being manipulative?

Title basically. My older sister always has a sob story and need for money, even if we aren't really speaking at the moment (I pulled back a bit due to her asking for money at least once a week).

I don't think she's lying, I don't think she's aware it's manipulative, but it doesn't feel good. She has lied to me about money before though - how much she's spending on her fixed income, what she spent it on, and she has lied by omission before as well. She doesn't just ask me, but she works her way through a list of family members until someone says yes. I usually get the brunt of it though, and she hardly ever pays me back because she can't afford to.

I'm aware that I am enabling her, but the guilt eats me alive for saying no because I have a better life than her.

Ok, to be fair, Tommy was fairly ripped back in the day.

And Claudette is the best actor in the whole damn show. Her little nose boops are very endearing.

A small rant about Slynd

I decided to give Slynd another go. This time, I'm taking it continuously to stop the bleed every month (this is my first month). I would normally be due my period right now.

Thing is, I'm still having alllll the period pain, just no bleeding. My head really hurts too.

ARE YOU FRIGGING KIDDING ME?

This is the height of bullshittery.

What's your favourite song?

I'm going through a bit of a tough time at the mo. Listening to Metallica in the dark for the first time in many years. Unforgiven II has always spoken to me, especially when I'm experiencing anguish. I love it so much I had the lyrics, I take this key and I bury it in you' tatted on my shoulder along with PusHead.

Feel free to share your favs and what gets you through 🤟♥️

My partner is a late-diagnosed Autistic person, and this is affecting my attraction to them

Please, before you come with the pitchforks and torches, I love my partner more than anything in this world and have no intention of leaving them. They are my life partner. It was also me that started noticing little things about them that got the ball rolling on their diagnosis, as I have autistic family members. My partner was in denial at first.

Ever since, as they learn more about themselves, they have stopped masking which is great and very healthy for them. However, they're like a different person. The affection is gone. They don't cuddle me anymore. They have stopped talking to me about important emotional things because it's too overwhelming for them, and I can no longer go to them with my problems just to get support or vent. I feel like I've lost my partner in crime somewhat. If we can't share our feelings, then is that even a real relationship?

The other thing is, they've suddenly started wearing headphones around the house and in public. If we go to a gig together, the headphones come on or the ear plugs go in, and they're just on their phone. It always causes an argument.

All of this is affecting my attraction to them. They're a beautiful soul and my best friend, but it's like they've given up on treating me like a romantic partner. I'm just the person that does their laundry and reminds them to shower.

Can anyone relate? I mean absolutely no disrespect to neuro divergent peeps here, I'm just looking for advice. Thanks.
