Plywood storage unit and other diy stuff on my 73

A few years ago, I made a storage box for winch accessories (gloves, weight bag, straps, pulleys, remote) and other tools (mini compressor, jumper cables...). Acces to the rear washer fluid reservoir is still possible, and an EPAL pallet can pass between the box and the other wheel arch. The box is fixed to an anchor point of the rear passengers protection frame and to the bolt of a tie-down ring.

A 12v 150w socket with fuse and switch has been installed directly on the battery you can plug in a cooler; the current does not stop when the ignition is switched off, the switch helps to preserve the battery, convenient for a lamp or charging a phone.

I riveted a small fire extinguisher; retrospectively, it would have been better to install it horizontally under the rear left window.

Wheel hubs have been painted to indicate their condition (locked or free) at a glance.

And you? Have you done any little DIY projects on your cruisers?
