First laserdisc player not powering on ( no sign of life)

Just got this for free today with a bunch of other audio components. Everything else works, except this which didn’t come with power supply or manual. Trying to get into back panel with fuse and power supply, although there are screws which are impossibly tight. Visually the inside is in decent condition, although it looks like someone has been in before. There is a disc stuck inside making me think it worked before being put aside for who knows how long. Just wanted to help to know what too look for issue wise. Belt is intact so hopefully it will work once I finally get inside. Any advice, is it worth keeping on going?

Looking to buy a laserdisc player

As the title says, I’m looking to get a laserdisc player for my birthday. I.e. I find it and my parents buy it for me since they haven’t a clue. eBay is either too expensive or the player is broken or both. Gumtree no use for within Glasgow. I think I might be too young to get a Facebook account for marketplace but I will double check. Does anybody have any recommendations? Or anybody willing to sell one. The alley way across from Hillhead subway is on the list. Thanks

Completed my basi 1 instructor course, and only burst my lip and chipped a tooth in the process

We were practicing some Ski switching, which is not mor forte although I am a good skier. My pole got caught on the dry ski slope may and my mouth smashed onto it. Lost a lotta blood. Funny story to tell tho

I bought this cap at a market in Prague. Guy said it was Soviet, but has Hungarian writing. Curious if it is a reproduction or switched pins.

It was 400CK or £16. Guy was nice, had a lot of military stuff and seemed to know what he was talking about. Thanks

Bought for £15 in Ho Chi Minh City from a military shop. Guy had one other backpack, with different inscriptions

Got this old transistor radio a while back, looking to get it in working order

Got this ages ago in Florida and brought it home to Scotland. A while ago I was faffing about and noise comes out, and I can occasionally hear voices although it is pretty quiet but can get loud for moments. I got it for free and know nothing about it. No aerial or anything ales cane with it. I can hear the tuning noise going between channels but that’s about it. A lot of crackle too How would i go about fixing this myself does anybody have more info on it. Thanks
