I’ve never really heard of MF DOOM because i mainly listen to german diaspora street rap (basically german Rap from Rappers with arab, Kurdish, north african and turkish roots/origin) and also because i never really felt and vibed with American rap in general besides A$AP FERG.

However i knew one MF song from Childhood (It ain’t nuttin’ by Herbaliser feat MF DOOM) which was in the soundtrack for Tony Hawks Underground 1 which is still one of my favorite Games up until this Day and it was one of my favorite Songs in the Game besides Low Class Conspiracy by Quasimoto.

I’m also a big Marvel fan and ironically as i grew older i was fascinated by Dr Doom, my favorite Marvel Villain and when going through Pinterest for some Dr Doom wallpapers, there were some MF DOOM wallpapers and i remembered that he was on It ain’t nuttin’

Fast forward i can’t fucking stop listening to MF DOOM no matter how much i love german rap from north africans (my roots) and no matter how much i can relate to their music and lyrics and stories, MF has a big grip on me, like he’s actually addictive, his iconic voice, his brilliant delivery, his seemingly effortless flow, the insane level of rhyme structures and of course the Beats, the samples, the references, and especially how relaxing his Music is, his Beats are so chill without even feeling forced like lofi for example he’s really the only Rapper where i can legit relax and just listen to him no matter what i do.

he is just absolutely perfect like i could talk about him for hours and i just scratched the Surface and don’t even know all of his Songs yet, i never had such a obsession for a Rapper besides some of my favorites from Germany. It’s insane honestly and on the same time so sad that he passed away, i would’ve loved to witness a new Album by him now that i just discovered him.

MF DOOM, you’re a absolute Genius, just like Victor von Doom aka Dr Doom himself, may you rest in Peace and thanks for the absolutely brilliant Music
