My grandma has a landline phone from optimum and it’s gotten two calls from what it says is optimum. It is a pre recorded message that says it’s for a woman that I don’t know saying to check the bill balance online. No website is listed to go to or a phone number to call back at. No way to reach a human being. The message just repeats itself over and over.

Like I’ve watched these people get all kinds of stuff prescribed in their name. Maybe I’m being judgemental, but I’m in severe pain everyday and the most I can get offered is 800mg ibuprofen, that I can’t even take!, it gives me abdominal pain, urethral pain, and severe urine retention which is such a rare side effect that drs just assume Im a liar 🙃

and these people actually getting the pain meds don’t even take half of them. they sell them and then go and buy more of a different type.

why am i treated like a drug abuser/dealer when actual drug abusers/dealers are getting away with it???

I had a dr that got fired for helping a patient fake a drug test that they would’ve failed. The same dr that wouldn’t help me with anything. just why??

I made another post on here recently asking if it sounded like I had sciatica because I’m showing the symptoms. Soon after that post I started having urine leakage. I called a 24/7 nursing hotline and was told to go to the er immediately. I called an ambulance because I had no other way to go and the emts were rude to me. The er at first was concerned, said possible CES, then they did a cte with and without contrast (no mri) and a urine sample that apparently came back normal (I’ll try to post the results on here when I get them) so they discharged me. Not sure what to do. I’m still leaking urine, but they said it’s not enough to count as incontinence because i’m not peeing on myself fully. I can walk normally too. This is the same hospital that missed my grandma’s *severely* fractured shoulder for 6 months and my best friend’s tethered cord for 2 *years* which is why I’m so suspicious of them. Also I told them that I can’t have Ibuprofen due to me getting bad rare side effects from it and they STILL prescribed it to me. I’m at a loss.

21(AFAB) I’ve been having pretty bad lower back pain for about 3 days now. It started while I was sitting in a recliner and hasn’t went away since. I’ve not done any physical activity to injure myself. The pain lessens when I’m standing and walking, worsens when I’m sitting. I get a really sharp pain in the lower back when I straighten and lift my legs, right side is worse than left. I have some slight knee pain in the left side and on and off thigh and butt pain in the right side. I had the knee pain all day the same day the back pain started. I’m having tingling in my feet, which is something I’ve had before so I cant tell if it’s related. It also feels like I have a uti(?). I’m peeing frequently in small amounts and it burns when I do. I don’t think I have any saddle numbness? Honestly I’m not sure how to tell. I have health anxiety and made the mistake of googling my symptoms and now i’m freaking myself out about ces. I’m hesitant about going to the er because I don’t have any reliable form of transportation at the moment. I have a dr appointment with my pcp on the 25th of June. Would that be okay to wait that long? Should I try to have it moved up if possible? They’re always packed and it’s hard to get an appointment with them when something isn’t an emergency (and even then sometimes they leave you waiting weeks and weeks). Tiny town things.

edit: I started having bladder leakage, called my insurance’s nurse hotline, they said go to an er, I went the er, they did a ct scan (no mri), i peed in a cup, and they said everything is normal. er dr said leakage doesn’t count as incontinence. did nothing about that. they gave me pain meds for my back. they were somewhat rude and dismissive to me. they said i’m too young to have problems. idk.

I’ve been having really bad earaches (both ears but worse on the left) recently and some minor gum pain on the left bottom side. The tooth there is impacted, but nothing has erupted. According to google impacted wisdom teeth can also cause ear aches. Has anyone else experienced this? Any ways to deal with it? My dentist wants to do a deep cleaning before he gets me a referral to have my teeth extracted and that appointment isn’t until the end of June.

This is more of a rant honestly than looking for advice, but oh well.

My entire life I’ve been called a know it all and a smart ass and have been told “I’d make a great lawyer” because I apparently know “too much”? I still can’t understand what that means and how to go about that to be less offending to others? I try not to talk about my own interests when the time isn’t appropriate and for the most part I don’t believe I do. I really like science overall, but mostly animals and plants. I’m very passionate about the environment and people don’t like that. I don’t attack people over things, but I’ve noticed even if I complain about trash on the street people, mainly family, get mad at me. People ask me how I know the things I know and when I say I read or research they scoff? I’ve been scoffed at by a lot of people for saying that I like bugs and reptiles. I feel like it annoys people if I point out a bird or something even if there’s no conversation happening. I don’t know what I’m doing wrong. It makes people even more mad at me if I try to get them to explain their issue with me. Am I meant to never talk about myself to non autistic people because that’s how it feels.

And processing just means to change something so unless you are on a 100% raw diet then you are eating processed food. The term “ultra processed” is a bullshit term that means nothing. Are some foods bad for you? Yes. Is a fruit cup going to kill you because it was “processed” in a factory and has corn syrup in it? No. You aren’t going to die because you ate an Oreo. Why is it suddenly normal for people to have hypochondria and eating disorders??

Im also incredibly annoyed by the wackos that drink raw milk, eat raw meat, and think fruit is the same thing as a candy bar and will kill you. And they slather themselves in beef tallow so they just stink of beef when they go into the sun because they’re slow cooking themselves. I’ve had these people tell me that carrots and broccoli are basically poison. Everyone is 12.

I am 21 years old, I don’t want to interact with those subreddits. Every time I mute one another one shows up. How many subs do these children have???

I’m 21 and the last time I was at a dentist office was when I was like 8 or 9 years old. My family just didn’t care about things like that. I went through some MAJOR depression and other mental problems my entire pre teen years and teen years so my teeth were greatly neglected. I have an appointment tomorrow and I am TERRIFIED. I don’t really have any teeth pain or anything, but I’m scared they’re going to bully me or tell me I’ll have to have teeth pulled or something.

edit: Dentist said my teeth are mostly fine! Some really minor cavities and some minor bone loss. I’m scheduled for a deep cleaning and fillings. They said my wisdom teeth will need removed, but that will probably be sometime next year.

When I try to manually upload a video it will upload about half way and then quit because of an error. It says that the internet connection was lost when I know it wasn’t. I can download games just fine and use online games with no issue.

Is this not taught in schools? Because I vividly remember being taught how to look things up online while in elementary school. These people will run into one problem and then not just not know what to do. Then they get annoyed about it. Like bro just Google it? If you can’t find it on Google for whatever reason then make a forum post somewhere and someone else might know. Why is everyone technologically illiterate??

Don’t even get me started on the people who go “let me ask chat gpt” and then end up with a dozen wrong answers they don’t understand.

Long story short I take care of my elderly grandmother right now and I don’t have the option to do in person college. I’m considering doing the animal science degree through Oregon State Ecampus. Would I still be able to do vet school with that? I’d be more than willing to do some extra courses in the future like in person labs if they’re needed. I just wanted to get started now since I’m already 21.

Another question, do you need work experience in the vet field prior to going to vet school? How would I go about getting that?

I’d be a first generation college student and first generation to do anything this ambitious so that’s why I’m so confused about everything.

This is especially annoying when it’s with someone that I don’t see often or at all in person. They have nothing going on with their life apparently and they have zero interests or hobbies that they will talk about and yet they insist on trying to have conversations through text. It ends up being just me leading the entire conversation and talking about myself. I try to spin it back to them to give them time to talk about themselves, but they respond with one word or one small sentence.

I use actions and stuff, realistic biomes, and vibrant visuals. Could this be the cause? I’ve left the game and rejoined and the rain sounds are still there but no actual rain. I’m not in a desert. It’s doing this in a forest biome.
