Advice for using a projector in a bright room?

I'm putting on a theater show in a room with lots of windows. It's a church sanctuary. There was an error in my room assignment and I'm stuck with it.

I use a projector in the show. I have a 2000 lumen projector I'll be using, the one linked above. That said, I'm very very worried no one is going to be able to see a damn thing with the daylight.

Any advice? Part of me thought maybe I can try to create a narrow black hood around the screen to prevent light from reaching it.

I realize anything i do is like putting lipstick on a big, but any advice would be welcome.

Any advice on getting Penn Med to reduce a bill?

I got an endoscopy covered by insurance....and got a 900 dollar bill from Penn Med which is more than we can cover now.

Any advice on how to get them to reduce to a lump sum? I called and they told me I could do a payment plan with no interest, but I'm wondering if there's something I could say to try and get them to take a smaller lump sum.

Can I bring my kids to FDR Park Playground?

Does anyone know if the Children’s Playground at FDR Park is open?

I know it's supposed to be closed cause there was an issue with the slides, but I've also heard you can still just go there and use it.

Anyone know?

Is there tailgating at the All Star Game?

I'm wondering if there will be a tailgating scene at the All Star Game. If so, I'll get there early. But I wouldn't be shocked if there isn't.

Any recs for online wills? (Writing from PA)

I live in Pennsylvania, and my wife and I have been meaning for years to make a will and a plan for our young kids in the sad event we both die. I know ideally we do this with a lawyer, but we keep dragging it out, and in the meantime, I wanna just do something with a website so something is in writing in case something horrible happens.

Any recs?

Really all we wanna do is designate who takes our kids and establish our estate goes to our kids, and in the event the whole family dies, that it goes to my sister in law.

Anyone here ever do the family campout at the Bisons stadium? Was it worth it?

I'm thinking of doing the family campout after a Bisons game with my two young kids later this month. I could see this being very fun......or I could see someone who did it telling me it was logistically hard like bathrooms being a shlep and the kids couldn't sleep and it's actually not worth it.

Why are straight line winds so destructive?

I live in Philly and yesterday we got unexpected straight line winds. Crazy. So many trees are down.

I've never heard of such a thing before. Why are they so destructive? How do they differ from regular wind in a storm?

When is it too hot to ride?

We recently had a heat wave where temperatures were over 100 for a few days. Is it OK to ride the bike on those days? Also, I'm guessing if its over 90, I should bring the battery in when not using it - correct?

I'm a big sports fan and would love to go to a World Cup rally day of the game if one was going on. Anyone know if one is?

Just curious if Comcast announcing it will split today should impact Philly given the fact it's one of the major employers here.

Best places to stop with kids (6 and 4) north of Roanoake?

We'll be driving the Blue Ridge Parkway this summer and I'm looking for a place or two north of Roanoake that might be good to stop with kids. This could be near a playground, a not too hard hike, some attraction that's kid friendly....anything!

Anyone have any recs?

Do they ever run out of wheelchairs?

I'm coming to the park with an elderly relative in a wheelchair. We'll get there like 10:30. Is that too late to get a wheel chair or are there usually enough for everyone?

Celiac friendly restaurants?

My spouse was diagnosed two years ago with celiac disease and is sadly super sensitive to gluten cross contamination.

Are there any restaurants at Dollywood or Splash Country that maybe are able to handle food for someone with these needs? I'm guessing not but maybe someone here has good info for me.
