[bedrock] Bedrock Edition on PC won't let me type with controller

I don't know why this is a thing, on console you can use a virtual keyboard with your controller no problem, why was that feature removed from this version? Or is it on PC but you have to glitch the game to make it work?

I posted this before and got no response, so I'm posting it again to see if I do now

[bedrock] Bedrock Edition on PC won't let me type with controller

I bought a DS4 adaptor, put it in my computer, connected the controller, and it doesn't stay connected for more than two seconds, can someone please explain to mw without any technobabble how to fix this please?

Edit: Problem is fixed now, charged the controller to see if that was the problem which in hindsight sounds super obvious, and it worked

[Discussion] What was your first platinum, and what motivated you to get it and later become a trophy hunter?

I’d been obsessed with DBH in late 2023/early 2024, I decided to go for the platinum just cos it was easy, figured why not, it was only this year when I got the platinum for Spider-Man 2 that I really started to platinum other games, but this was where it all started

Can you kill Urias Strajer when he's just standing still, before you properly approach him on Village of Shadows Difficulty?

Like, when he's just perched on this ledge, I've shot him and he's spewed blood, would it be possible for me to just keep shooting him and then he drops dead

Edit: I have defeated him, and finished the game since, but at least anyone who has the same idea in the future and looks up a post about it will find this and see the comment saying it doesn’t work, that’ll save them pummelling lead before the boss fight only to get nothing

Posting this because I can't seem to find a straight answer, can you survive the first lycan attack on Village of Shadows difficulty by just staying in the same house and killing all enemies who come near you until the attack ends?

I'm going for the platinum trophy and I'm doing a Village of Shadows run for the Universes Best Dad Trophy, and some others I'll get along the way, I've been trying to survive the first lycan attack but I keep dying. Does anyone know if staying in the same spot will work?

Edit: I made it, not with this method but I did it

(Mixed/Sad Trope) reunions or sequels writing around the abscence of a deceased actor by way of unused or repurposed material.

Trini Kwan (Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Once and Always) Thuy Trang tragically died in a car crash in 2001, over 20 years later when the special was made Trini only appears in suit, we hear her old fighting noises when she’s battling Putties, then when Billy is about to be killed by Robo Rita, Trini shouts “Billy” with a line reading reused from the original series second episode, then she jumps in the way and sacrifices herself to save him, this serves as the inciting incident for the plot of the special.

Leia Organa (The Rise of Skywalker) Carrie Fisher died in 2016, so when making the film some deleted scenes mostly from The Force Awakens were edited in and re-contextualised with relevant dialogue to the plot written around them

Mr Potato Head (Toy Story 4) Don Rickles signed on to reprise his role in the film but died before he had a chance to record any lines, so Pixar dug through their archives and utilised unused audio from previous Toy Story material.

I call this a mixed trope because sometimes it’s better to kill off or recast the character, recasts are usually more suited to animation though where you don’t see the person and it’s just the voice that matters, this is all situational though depending on the medium and how important the character is, it’s nice that creators try to pay respect by including the actors in some way, though even then there’s only so much you can do with this approach without it being obvious you’re writing around material made for a different context, or if you don’t have enough to work with.

Do I really have to go into an orignal save file to get the "I'm A Living Legend" achievement?

I'm trophy hunting in Jedi Survivor on PS4 and New Journey+ and I've seen some people say you have to beat all legendary enemies on an original save file to get it, is this still true, has it been fixed in an update, cos my original save got corrupted and it now unplayable, and I don't have any other regular new journey files, and I'd rather not start a brand new save file just for one achievement
I have all legendary enemies in my tactical guide, at least those who appear.

Do you reckon Spider-Man 3 will begin with just Miles for a while, before bringing Peter back into the fold?

Like, starts with Miles, we’re caught up on him, play as him for a few levels, and introduced to Silk, play as her for a bit, and after that we see where Peter is at and get his inciting incident for being Spider-Man again, then to periodically swap between all 3 Spider-People
