Your thoughts on this movie?

I'm pretty sure this was already discuss on this subreddit before.

I only wanna watch this movie for Sadie, But this movie isn't really that good for me.

I'm curious to hear your thoughts and opinion on this movie. What's are your pros and cons of this movie?

I thought Sadie looked great in this movie. She looked absolutely gorgeous with the short hair, and it was also nice to see her sing and play the guitar. I honestly hope we get to see her take on more roles like this in the future.

The whole cyberpunk setting seemed really interesting, but I feel like it could have been explored a lot more.

As for Euri and O'Dessa's relationship? Eh, I didn't really care much about it. I mainly watched the movie because of Sadie.

I Miss These Two Duos So Much

I hope this post doesn't attract too much negativity, considering the state of Reddit these days.

I remember back in 2022 when a lot of people were really invested in Robin and Nancy because their chemistry was so good.

As for Max and Eleven, I always hoped we'd get to see more of their friendship explored and expanded in Seasons 4 and 5 beyond their romantic relationships. Unfortunately, it never felt like the show fully developed their dynamic, and I was honestly very disappointed by the lack of interaction between them, especially in Season 5. It almost felt like they barely knew each other, which honestly made me sad. I always thought their friendship deserved more screen time instead of being defined primarily by their relationships with Lucas and Mike.

Does anyone here ship Elmax and Ronance?

If you do, I'd love to hear your thoughts! If you don't, that's completely fine. I just ask that we keep the discussion respectful and avoid unnecessary negativity.

[All] So this is where they get the inspiration for Max and Chloe's Design?

From Blue Is the Warmest Color, I'm pretty sure most of you already know that the comic was a major influence on Life Is Strange. I just wanted to bring it up because this particular panel really looks a lot like Max and Chloe.

Any fans of both Sadie Sink and Emma Myers here?

I hope this is a safe space to share this since this is an Emma Myers subreddit, but this post is still related to Emma.

I really hope no one makes any snarky or negative remarks about this post. I just wanted to share my thoughts because I haven’t really seen anyone talk about this before, I don’t really have anyone else to share this with. So I figured this subreddit might be the closest place where I can talk about it with people who are also fans of Emma. 😭

Now, I know most of you here would love to see Jenna and Emma star in a movie together because of their amazing on-screen chemistry as Wednesday and Enid, but I would love, love, LOVE to see Emma Myers and Sadie Sink star in a movie together someday.

Both Emma and Sadie are rising stars in Hollywood, I would LOVE to see them star in a movie together someday, especially as the two female leads of a female-centric story. I think they could have such a great dynamic on screen.

Both of my favorite actresses starring in a movie together? Shut up and take my money.

I've just finished Dead Space 3

After a lot of setbacks and technical issues, I finally finished Dead Space 3 today.

I have to be honest, it wasn't that bad. I still don't fully understand why so many people dislike it (we'll get into that later), but overall I had a really good time. I genuinely enjoyed the game.

The ending definitely left me wanting more. I kept wondering what happened to the characters afterward, so I looked up whether they were ever making another sequel. Finding out there wouldn't be one was honestly pretty depressing.

But regardless, I'm really glad I finally finished the game. Will I replay it like I did with the first two Dead Space games? Absolutely. I'd love to come back and experience it again someday.

Now here's my real question:

I hope everyone can keep the comments respectful because I'm honestly not familiar with all the controversy surrounding this game. Can you explain why it's considered the weakest entry in the series?

I already have a feeling that a lot of the blame falls on EA, which is completely understandable, but I'd like to know the full story from people who have been following the series longer than I have.

Dead space 3 (Activate your Game Problem)

Hello everyone!
I already purchased this game and I’m currently on Chapter 15, but I’ve run into an issue. For some reason, the game is asking me to activate it, and it won’t let me continue playing.
I was really excited to jump back into the game, but this problem suddenly appeared. Has anyone experienced this before or knows how to fix it?
I’d really appreciate any help or advice. Thank you so much!

[ALL] I need help with this problem

I'm pretty sure some of you have run into this before.

I finally picked up all the episodes of Life is Strange thanks to the Steam Summer Sale, but I've run into this issue. Is there any way to fix it?

What game means the most to you and why?

Since this subreddit keeps talking about people blaming video games because of the Tacloban incident, I want to talk about something else.

What’s a video game that really resonated with you? Like, what’s the game that helped you during the lowest point of your life, or a game that made you feel something when you needed it the most?

I’m asking because a lot of people don’t understand that games aren’t just about violence or causing problems. Sometimes they can be an escape, a way to process emotions, connect with stories, or even help someone get through a difficult time.

A video game also can inspire someone to write a story, create art, or explore their imagination instead of encouraging violence. Games can leave a positive impact on people and become something meaningful in their lives.

To me, Not every video game is about destruction and gore, to me, video games sometimes a game can genuinely mean something to someone.

Does anyone still know this console?

I remember when my parents couldn't afford to buy me a PS2, PS3, or an Xbox because consoles were really expensive back then, so they bought me this instead.

it was probably the closest thing I had to gaming at the time, and even though it wasn't the same as owning a real console, I still had a lot of fun with it.

Does anyone else remember this?

What's do you guys think of the Hellfire Club?

For me, I really loved the energy and personality of the Hellfire Club. They had such a unique vibe, they felt like a group of outsiders who finally found a place where they belonged. They were fun, passionate, and honestly some of the coolest characters introduced in the season.

It sucks that they never returned for Season 5. I completely understand why, especially since the story is already packed with so many characters and plotlines, but I still would have loved to see them again.

I always wondered how they could have played a role in the final season. Since they were close friends with Eddie, it would have been interesting to see them help Dustin not only honor Eddie's memory but also clear his name and restore his reputation after Hawkins spent so long blaming him because of the whole satanic panic situation.

It would have been really emotional to see Eddie's friends continue his legacy. They could have shown that Eddie wasn't the monster people thought he was and that the people who truly knew him understood who he really was.

Still, I think it would have been really interesting to see them play a bigger role. Seeing the Hellfire Club become part of the fight against the Upside Down could have been a meaningful way to bring Eddie's story full circle.

P.S. I also wonder how some of them would interact with the younger kids like Derek, Holly, and the others. It would have been fun seeing the older "nerdy outcasts" become the ones protecting the next generation.

Question to Left 4 Dead 2 Players

I'm really curious because I've been looking for a custom campaign map that I've always wanted to play with my friends.

Is there a lore reason why there's no driver in Burnout Paradise?

I'm pretty sure this has been discussed on this subreddit before, but I've always been curious about something.

Is there an actual reason why there are no visible drivers in the cars in Burnout Paradise?

What makes it even weirder is that you can clearly see the riders when you're on motorcycles, but when it comes to cars, they're completely empty. I've always found that a little strange.

I remember reading a theory years ago that Paradise City is actually some kind of afterlife for street racers who died in car accidents. It's a pretty cool and creepy idea, and it would explain a lot. But as far as I know, it's just a fan theory. (And no, I'm not doing that MatPat reference.)

So what do you guys think? Was there ever an official explanation from the developers, or was it just a design choice? Why do you think there are no drivers in the cars?

And please don't attack me in the comments, I know this is probably a dumb question, but it's something I've wondered about for years.

Not sure if this has been posted already, but I got a laugh out of it.

I made this meme based on the Stranger Things meme where Eleven's aesthetic is compared to Joy Division and New Order. I figured I'd make one for Emma as well. Also, to everyone on this subreddit who's a fan of New Order and Joy Division, you've got great taste in music.

Edit: Yes, I know I could've used Wednesday here, but since this is an Emma Myers subreddit, I had to use Pippa instead. Honestly, I think she fits surprisingly well.

I Wish We Had Seen Them Interact

I'm pretty sure this has already been discussed on this subreddit, but I wanted to bring it up again.

Before Season 4 was released, I was really hoping we'd get to see more interactions between these two. Since Eleven had lost her powers, it felt like the perfect opportunity to explore parts of her life that she'd never really gotten to experience before.

I think it would've been interesting if Jonathan had helped her discover new hobbies, like photography, and shown her that she's more than just a former lab experiment or a superhero. Maybe he could've shared his taste in music with her the same way he did with Will, giving her a chance to develop interests and an identity outside of her powers.

Jonathan could've become the older brother figure that Eleven never really had. There was so much potential there, and it's a bit disappointing that the show never explored it.

[NO SPOILERS] Life is Strange? More Like Life Is Unfair

No, seriously though, I’m hoping the Life is Strange episodes go on sale again during the Steam Summer Sale. I missed this sale, and I’m going to crash out if they don’t get discounted again. 😭

Does anyone feel like this when it comes to customizing your car?

This applied in some racing games you played.

Question to All Gamers

Come on, be honest. No need to act all professional or pretend your first game was some critically acclaimed masterpiece.

We all started somewhere, Y8, browser games, Flash games, dress-up games, games on a friend's computer, or whatever we could find back then.

So seriously, what's the very first game you remember playing? Share me your Story

For me, it would be Motor Racer. It's the first game I can remember playing as a kid back when my family still had a PC.

My memories of it are pretty vague now, so I can't remember many details, but I do remember having a lot of fun with it. Looking back, it was also my very first racing game, which probably explains why I've always had a soft spot for the genre.
