I've been eyeballing a classic beetle as a fun little around town rig and a 520km trip to work and back once a fortnight. I just want something that is comfortable to drive. My only requirement is that I want a metal dash car, I don't like the later beetles got the rubber dashes they came with in Australia.

I remember my mother had a early 60's model and it was quite harsh on the pot hole riddles roads of rural Australia.

I'm no stranger to vintage vehicles, I drove a 1953 Standard Vanguard for many years and then a 40 series landcruiser. I'm no prude to working on my cars on the side of the road when required.

The interior lights in my 2007 9n3 polo 1.9TDI are stuck on, appears to be the door actuator but I'm not really sure how to diagnose which one it is without pulling the actuator out itself.

I already replaced the drivers door because it would sometimes not unlock properly, but appears that it wasn't the one causing the interior lights to stay on.

At the moment I have just pulled the globes out to save the battery.

The headunit is barely audible, have used car play, Bluetooth and radio.

My car doesn't appear to have a factory amplifier.

eBay seller said it needed a canbus cable but is powering on and playing music without it, it's just very quiet even with the volume up.

I've got an older hatchback as my daily rig with kicker 3 way components in the front. I've had to take the subwoofer out of the boot for a pram. I don't really have an option to fit a subwoofer in the boot for a while, so I'm looking at slotting something in under the driver's/passenger seat.

Do any of those all in 1 subwoofers that go under the seat output anything of value ?

I'd be looking at the Pioneer TS-WX130DA or something similar.

How do I slow my Kelpie down when he's coming inside ?

He's very obedient, he will wait by the door until he's invited in. He doesn't try and push past or force his way in. However for some reason he gets very excited runs through the door at full speed, slips on my new wood floor and then settles down after a minute.

It doesn't seem to matter what I do, he won't slow down. We firstly tried making it a non event when we got home, walking inside by ourselves and leaving the door open for 10 minutes and then inviting him in for a few weeks. Which didn't seem to help.

I tried letting him in first, then making him come in behind me.

I've tried holding his collar and walking him in, I've tried making him wait at the door for multiple minutes. We put away his inside food bowl except for during normal eating times thinking he was running towards the bowl for water/food.

I have tried telling him to settle, be quiet, etc (he has quite a few commands he's learnt)

I know he's just excited to be allowed inside.

After a few minutes he's back to his usual very obedient self.

I'm just worried he will either hurt himself or will damage my new floors.

He runs down 4-5 km of dirt road behind the car most days. Sometimes before or after we get home.

For some reason Waze will no longer play a noise for when going above the speed limit.

All other noises will play.

I can't seem to find any settings for noise regarding the speeding warning

I have checked the speedometer setting, deleted and reinstalled the app.

Anyone have an idea why how to get it to work ?

Would anyone happen to have a copy of L Connect 1 they could send me ?

I have the old SL120 fans and they don't work with L connect 2 or 3. Lian Li says you can update the firmware of the fan controller but I've had no luck and their website links are dead.
