Re Bato de la Rosa

If you genuinely root for Ronald "Bato" dela Rosa, a disgraced, inveterately incompetent senator and fugitive who continues to embarrass the entire country on the world stage with his desperate antics to evade the ICC over the international crime charges against him, then there’s truly something wrong with you.

It's truly ironic that a former chief of the Philippine National Police, who ought to have been an exemplar of accountability and courage in law enforcement, now appears too spineless to face the very charges brought against him. He would rather endanger the public by using Senate premises to orchestrate his escape just to preserve his own skin. For a man who built his image on bravado, threats, and performative toughness, watching him scramble in fear the moment real accountability catches up to him is nothing short of pathetic.

I don't think he can even distinguish between amendments and revisions. Oh, scratch that, perhaps he doesn't even know the main difference. 🤦

When you surprise them right after they set their last card on their turn! However, I think they would be even more surprised if I dropped Last Day of the Witch during my turn. Sorry, Diabellstar. lol

It's truly disturbing. Feel free to share your thoughts.

Don’t you guys think it’s really disturbing that the supposed unanimous decision, i.e. to surrender this egregiously incompetent public official to an international court despite its valid authority, considering the evident flagrant neglect of duty as an incumbent senator, turned out to be only a minority position? Using Senate premises as a sanctuary for a fugitive is another low the Philippines has come to.

Little survey for you guys. Do you ever love a certain deck so much that even though you already have every card available, you still pull from the selection just hoping to land a Royal Finished rarity for each one?

Share your thoughts here, guys. GOAT of wildlife documentaries.

Wholesome thoughts ahead. His passion for wildlife and nature is perhaps the very reason for his remarkable longevity, a life rooted in curiosity, wonder, and purpose. Truly the GOAT of wildlife documentaries.

I was up against Blue-Eyes and had to go second, and I bricked. On my turn, I tried every possible line, even though none of them fully materialized. Still, I made use of every card at my disposal.

If only Orthros had resolved, or if Droll hadn't been dropped, I could have baited their Cosmic Quasar Dragon into using its effect when I searched with Gate, the tables might have turned.

Anyway, it was a great mental exercise: working through a tough position, thinking on my feet, and making the most of every card available. D/D/D thrives in situations like these.

Sharing this move Taylor initiated today to combat AI misuse and the proliferation of disinformation. I wish more public figures — especially those with real influence over the general public — would do the same. This is good for everyone. An actual move against AI.
