Uber in Sudbury
Staying at Travelway Inn for two days. If I want to come downtown for dinner, does Uber exist? Or any other way in?

I have a requisition from an Ontario doctor for an MRI but it's not until July. I'm going to Montreal in May and I understand that I can pay around $700 for an MRI on my knee. I'll be staying in the city of montreal, does anybody have any recommendations or know how long it takes to get an appointment?
The incident 2 days ago reaffirmed my faith in the good people of Toronto. I wasn't on the ground for 10 seconds before 6 people were around me, one making sure my dog didn't run into the street, one finding a towel, another water, another ice, another calling 911, another a chair. One woman said she was on the way down to one of the downtown hospitals and offered me a ride. Imagine, blood everywhere and she invites me into her car.
And another guy, I wish I knew how to thank him, he was the first on the scene, like 10 seconds later, and he was comforting me, laying me down, had a whole bunch of kleenex or something, don't know where they came from, but it's trying to stop the bleeding from my face with his bare hands, no gloves, and he stayed until the fire department arrived. I asked his name, twice. He just said "hey, don't worry about it". I hope he is here. I hope the mods don't delete this.
And then the professionals at Toronto General, part of the UHN. Dr. Battaglia, great guy, calm, warm human. And although all he could do was patch me up, he assured me I was getting the best care, all required diagnostics and that everything would be OK. The nurses, technicians, physician's assistants and doctors in Toronto hospitals are the best in the world. We are so lucky to have them.
So thanks to everyone who was there.
Assaulted at Yonge and Summerhill area at 2pm
I'm posting this not to make a political statement but to warn anybody who might be in the same area if you see a crazy looking skinny black guy with short curly hair yelling and screaming at the world.
It happened at Yonge and Scrivener Square which is just south of the railroad tracks and the beautiful liquor store which used to be a train station.
I keep telling people who are new to Toronto that Toronto is safe, lots of crazy people but they never do anything.
Well, today I was walking my dog for her afternoon walk, a crazy looking black guy smashed into me intentionally real hard with his shoulder while passing me on the sidewalk. I was shocked and turned around and probably said something like what the f\*\*\* are you doing. He did not knock me down with that hit so I took my phone out of my pocket and started to turn it on. He then ran at me and either punched me in the face or smashed me to the ground and I landed on my hands and nose. There was blood absolutely everywhere. So I'm down at the hospital being examined. The police have taken my statement and they are looking for him.
There are construction workers on the site who witnessed it at the new The James high-rise project, it happened beside where they were doing construction. The police are also talking with them. The construction workers tell me they have seen him downtown around Bay Street when they were doing a project and the guy had a knife.
The problem with mentally ill people is that you can arrest them and you can take them to court and you can even convict them and you can even in jail for a short time but they'll do it again because they are mentally ill.
I did not pass out, but was shocked to see blood pouring on the ground. Within seconds there were a half dozen people around me offering help. People who stayed with me the whole time who didn't want anything thanks, didn't even give me their name. They called 911, brought me a chair, towels, water and made sure my dog was okay.
Another day in toronto. Love hate relationship.
