I like the idea of scrapbooking but I also want to write (journaling). What is the right word when it’s both? Scrapnaling? 🤣

I’m playing a Dungeons & Dragons campaign and we have to write down what we did in each session so that we don’t forget. I’m gonna be writing mostly but I also want to add art! So I bought a bunch of different paper arts and some stickers.

If it’s not journaling or scrapbook, then what is it called? I’m gonna call it Scrapnaling for now 😹

To my fellow dungeons & dragons players, how do you decorate your journal? I need ideas.

So I started a week ago on an online homebrew dungeons & dragons campaign and I already had my journal but I didn’t bought anything like how to decorate it. I ordered a few things things like washi tapes, decorative papers and etc but I would like to see how you decorate it?

I bought my first miniature and I want to paint it. Which of the two brush sets should I get?

And that’s the painting set I’m gonna use to paint the miniature.

How do you feel being the only one without kids/partner while your family and friend have kids and/or a partner and are finding out you’re still single/childfree and still live with your parents?

I’m a 40yo F. I live with my parents whom we have great communications but lately some of our distant family are finding out I’m still single and without a kid and are starting to “worry” about me just because I still live with my parents.

My other family members never really cared much about me when I was young but now that I’m “older” they’re starting to talk about why I’m still single or why I’m not married or why I don’t have kids it’s too late for me now to be a mother or why I still live with my parents.

I’m happy the way I am. My only con is that I don’t earn enough money to live on my own on a decent apartment but my parents have been very supportive of me and I take care of them. I’m not living there for free, just so you know.

I pay my own bills and help them with money whenever I can. I do their errands. Help around with the house. So I’m not living there rent free or I’m a “parasite” or “adult child” to them.

I watch a lot of Turkey dramas and I see the men are ALWAYS SO possessive/controlling of the women that I need to know if this is actually true over there?

This includes all Turkish men like husbands, boyfriends, brothers, uncles etc. It’s just too much.

I’ve seen other dramas from different countries and yes some are similar but Turkish men have to be the more extreme

I know TV series and movies can exaggerate things but I just need some clarifications.

Thanks in advance.

EDIT I forgot to add. If a man cheats on their wive/girlfriend it’s not bad but if a woman cheats on her husband/boyfriend all the men wants to kill her. Like WTF???

How do you come up with names for your characters?

I have a name I have in mind but I’m not sure if it’ll work? I like how it sounds but I fear people will associate to a monster high character 🫠

How do new players find a campaign here? “[5e 2024] [Online]

Probably a dumb questions but I feel like I can’t find a campaign that mentions “newbies/newcomers” welcome.

I’ve never played DND but I want to. I know a store nearby that let people play but I can never be there when it’s DND day.

I am 100% newbie when it comes to ttrpg but I have listened to podcasts of people playing DND.

And just in case I’m going to be 40 soon. Just saying since this seems to be important when DM are looking for players.

What other fish can I add? Tomorrow I’m receiving new plants after iv been neglecting my tank for months thanks to a new big puppy taking all my free time.

How can I stop my 7 month old golden doodle from biting my hands?

I can’t even touch his head without him wanting to bite my hand. I don’t know if that’s him being playful or dominant. He was the biggest and most dominant puppy of the litter.

I’m also gonna try the co2 kit they sell.

I can’t wait to play the game and meet new people. I’m still learning but for now I’m admiring my journal, dice tray and my dice sets

I like to roll all my dice sets into the dice tray and whoever rolled the highest 20 dice number will be my dice set of choice.

Knowing how expensive this device is…don’t let a child borrow your 3DS/2DS

I see too many stories about people giving their 3DS/2DS to a child, teenager (adult too??) and later finding out they broke it.

Maybe it was a spare one you didn’t care about if they brake it or not. But unless you’re absolutely sure (kid or adult) they won’t break it, don’t give it to them.

I stopped letting people (family or friends) borrow my stuff long ago cause either I never saw it again or they broke it. One (something else) was even stolen from me and they claim it was theirs since the begging…oh and they moved to another country.

Just my 2 cents from my experience.

Do you brush their teeth everyday or every other day?

I do it every other day because my hands can’t handle all the biting if I brush his teeth everyday 🫠

He’s a standard size 6 month old male Goldendoodle.

Is it ok to add 3D stickers inside the 3DS?

I don’t like to add stickers where I’m touching the buttons but I would like to add 3D stickers around the top screen area.

I know many do it, but I always had that nagging in my head that maybe the 3D stickers could damage the 3DS when closed…

As a player I can’t choose who I want to play as? Is that the DM’s job to pick a character for the players?

Just wanted to know if it’s more common for DMs to give players premade characters instead of the players choosing their characters.

Is it ok to share my character I finished building using Beyond app? Or is it a personal thing?

I’m slowing learning how this game works but today was my first time creating my own character using the app. I don’t know half of why I was doing if I’m being honest. I would like to share how I create it but I don’t know if that’s something people do?

Thanks in advance.

*EDIT* My first DnD character:

Do you have a small tank in your OFFICE? How do you do the maintenance?

And HR doesn’t know I want to add a small tank. I will ask eventually. Me and a small group of people were moved to a different building to our new offices and is big rough to add a small tank. I plan to add a 2.5 gallon acrylic tank and add shrimps. The problem is that we only have 30 minutes of break. It is still undecided whether that’ll change into 1 hour of lunch break or stick it to 30 minutes of break.

Thanks in advance.
