Is all wheel drive worth it for electric cars?
That’s the question I have in my head after this extreme mileage test.

Moving, emptied today this Kombucha mother that had been left brewing in the basement for 10 month…
I appreciate these so much after struggling with all the carbon steel, 3-ply stainless steel and other copper coated pretenders from Ikea and other top brands 😭… wish I knew sooner.
Mini4Pro - video slowed down 10x.
First, I noticed some jelly wobble on the left side of my Mini4Pro videos and the drone wasn’t holding itself position.
Upon close inspection, the rear right arm and motor had this weird vibration, seen in the video. Physically the arm, the motor and the propellers looked and feel fine when I turn and twist them.
I changed both its propellers just to see what would happen. The rear right arm stabilized, but then the front left arm started to do this, seen in the second video. I changed both its propellers and all the arms are good and jelly video is gone now.
Anyone have clues on why this happened? I’m just going to carry a bunch of spare propellers on me from now on.
Sorry I filmed it on a 2010s potato, here’s the video https://youtu.be/X2HDHF-eef8

3-row mid sized plug-in hybrid that goes for around $40,000USD. Is this the most popular in Mexico? Might be called BYD Song Plus DM-i
Hawaii hamburger for about $4, Sushi Maki combo for about $3, no tax in the first photo. 5 Chinese Yuan is about $1 Canadian
context: we were both in the bedroom, kids went out to the playground with grandma. It’s been a while so we wanted to check on the kids but too lazy to leave the room… so I came up with this operation - didn’t see the kids (the avata360 200’ lenses were too wide, and I didn’t want to fly too close to the playground), but I had a lot of fun 😂.
Okay DJI just dropped the Lito 1 and the Lito X1 today, and I’ve had some questions since the Lito leaks, as I’m sure so do some of you. So I dived into the specs comparing it to the Mini 4Pro, and here’s what I can tell you as a MiniPro pilot:
Main takeaway: the Lito 1 replaces the Mini 4K as the best entry DJI drone under 250g to fly with a controller.
Main similarities:
- same weight, folded size (which means carrying bag)
- same camera between Lito X1 and the Mini 4Pro / the Flip. The Lito 1 has a similar but better 1/2in sensor camera (at f/1.8, better than the Neo 2’s f/2.2 and better than the Neo and Marvic Air 2’s f/2.8 - crazy)
- practically same speed and wind resistance
*while the difference in practical flight-time might be negligible - Mini4Pro flys closer to the stated max flight time while with the Litos DJI created a new “Typical Flight Time” category. Make that what you will.
Key differences (beside the price):
*which although not stated in the specs sheets, I expect Litos’ blades to rotate faster comparing to Mini4Pro’s larger blades, which might lead to louder noise - it’s a speculation, but noise is pretty important to me while flying in most cases around people and wildlife, so again make that what you will.
Lito X1’s 42GB internal storage makes it truly possible to fly without a card and under 250g at all time.
Mini4Pro has the HLG mode and the Litos don’t
Litos radio transmission systems slightly weaker to the Mini4Pro - 2 antennas instead of 4. But in most practical flights, we probably won’t notice a difference.
Mini4Pro supports h264 videos in all forms, and has slighter higher data rates (150Mbps vs 130 in Litos), Litos only supports h264 in lower resolutions - not a problem for most people, h265 is superior anyway.
All in all, as a video professional, the Mini4Pro (and of course the Mini5Pro) are still the better choice for me, as it gives me the most control, option, quietest flight and true vertical filming - more than justifying the extra $200. But for most people flying for themselves, the Lito is a welcoming new series, and you should confidently go for it.
