Please be kind - posted my under eye story below!

Just context here - my skin isn’t pigmented or sun damaged! My skin looks spotty and aged because I used a really bad brand of face tanner that I need to wait for a few days to come off, it’s not sun damage! I have clear skin.

The issue is my under eyes. I’m only 30F and I swear I’m happy with my skin everywhere else, my undereyes age me so much.

I actually am really sad about my story. For 10 years, I had crippling eye pain. Doctors told me I must have dry eye and told me to do “hot compresses” and laser treatments. I think years of their advice thinned the skin around my eyes😭. I also have some fine lines. I got filler 3 years ago that migrated and looks lumpy now, I need to get it dissolved.

Anyways. To my story- I ended up finding out I don’t have dry eye. I have late stage Lyme disease and Bartonella. I have been so ill that I think the stress hasn’t helped my skin either 😅

I’m finally in treatment for Lyme (10 years later 😅) but I can see a light at the end of the tunnel and a chance to get my life back. However, these misdiagnosis and delayed diagnoses from doctors has really impacted the appearance of my eye area. I guess my recovery gift to myself will be some procedures to revitalise my eyes and feel more like a human again after so many years of medical trauma 🥲 my undereyes probably never would’ve went like this had I been diagnosed correctly 10 years ago.. it’s kind of sad but I’m trying to make peace with the present now.

I don’t want Botox as I know it’s a neurotoxin, I have had Lyme and Bart in my nervous system for years so I want to avoid anything more like that!

I am thinking of dissolving the fillers as they’ve migrated and look lumpy. I’m thinking of getting C02 laser to resurface the fine lines? Or cosmetic acupuncture? I can’t do PRF/PRP unfortunately because I still have Lyme and bartonella infections in my blood and this is contraindicated.

I’m thinking of waiting another year until treatment finishes and getting a full blown fat transfer to thicken my hollow eye area and C02 laser to resurface. In the meantime, maybe just some filler to make it less hollow?

I have read horror stories of C02 laser though and some people getting worse wrinkles and lines from it?

Basically any advice would be greatly appreciated. I’m ready to have a second chance at life and not be self conscious everytime I see my eyes in the mirror!

Thank you all ❤️❤️

I don’t know if I was herxing or flaring today.

But basically it was like I was poisoned. My head pressure was crazy. DPDR. Really bad brain fog. Achey body. My glands were tender. I looked in the mirror and my eyes were dull, glassy and red/bloodshot. Purple circles around the eyes too. Felt I couldn’t think properly. Tight sore calves. Palpitations at one point. I ended up getting teeth pain too which can be a Bart symptom for me.

Afterwards, my appetite ramped up hugely. I ended up having breakfast, lunch and like two dinners 😅

I have 3 Lyme strains, Bart and babesia.
