Cold Take: PK Luffy will be much stronger than PK Roger, they wont be relative

Roger was super strong but he never had the same competition that Luffy has had. Luffy already defeated Kaidou 1vs1 in Wano, In Elbaph his enemy is Imu himself who is much stronger than Roger ever was and there is still Blackbeard who will problaby be as strong as Davy Jones if not stronger when Luffy has to defeat him.

Roger in comparison never had that level of opponents, he didnt beat Big Mom for the Poneglyphs, Whitebeard was basically his friend so their fights were never serious, Garp was an enemy but Roged never beat bim and Shiki was saved by an storm. So if you look at Roged he didnt beat his rivals like Luffy will have to do and his rivals were much stronger

And I havent even mentioned other possible opponents for Luffy like Akainu, Shamrock or the Man Marked by Flames. The amount of competition Luffy will have to beat to become PK is much higher

Kaidou> Shiki

Elbaph Imu>>>> Prime Garp

Blackbeard>>> Prime Whitebeard

Man Markes by Flames> Big Mom

Akainu> Prime Sengoku

PK Luffy> PK Roger Mid-Diff

Shanks comeback is crazy, back in the days you would be crazy if you said he beats Kaidou while today many people think he is Roger level or may even beat him

I still remember the talks about Shanks in 2021/2022, people were saying he was the weakest Yonko and that Big Mom would defeat him and they also downplay him saying he was just a Yonko because of his crew and not his strength using the fact that his crew got hyped when bounties were revealed and not him.

Like hell, I remember a lot of people placing Admirals above him or equal to him while today almost no one think that Admirals are on Shank's level.

Back in the days thinking that Shanks could possibly be above Roger would be something the entire fanbase would destroy you for but today it's a geniune debate showing the massive comeback that Shanks made since 2021

I think we will see peak Flick ball in 26/27, he has never had a true DM so it's possible his system will evolve now that he has arguably one of the best DM of all-time

I swear people aren't talking about this more but Flick has never had a true DM in his coaching career, in Bayern he had Kimmich and Gorestka and neither of these players are true defensive midfielders. And in Barca he used Pedri/FDJ and neither of these guys are actually defensive midfielders. However, with Rodri this changes, now he has a true DM which might make his style evolve and reach it's peak.

In fact, Rodri might solve one of the biggest issues of Barca under Flick which is the press at times can look easy to bypass especially by elite teams which is one of the reason why Barca concedes so much. Now, I'm not saying that because you signed Rodri then Barca won't concede goals because Flick football is still risky but I believe the amount of chances that they concede will be reduced considerably.

Like, Flick's teams are always known for scoring a lot but now they might add the defensive balance that his teams have always lacked which would problaby push his team to the next level, a level where they aren't just scoring a lot but also controlling games at all times.

Messi's League stats are kinda absurd

I was just looking at the league stats and Messi is absolutely nuestro at the league, if Cristiano is MR UCL then Messi is Mr League

-816 G+A in 647 Games

-13 Titles in 21 Seasons

-9 Top Scorer Awards

-6 Golden Boot

-11X Player of the season

-283 MOTM

-396 Big Chances Created

-1400 Key Passes

-2600 Dribbles

There is no Player that has been as dominant in the League as Messi has.

Is Luffy a Haki master or still has a long to go to be considered a Haki master?

^(The official definition of master is someone that's not only good very good at something but has total understanding of it. Someone like Gaban is what I would consider a Haki masters, he was can use 3 types of advanced Haki and it's extremely knowledgeable about it given he understood the problems that Zoro/Sanji had and even have mentored Luffy about it.)

^(Now talking Luffy I think he hasn't reached the master level yet, he knows how to do Conqueror's Haki but he just got it in Wano and there are still a few tricks about Haki that he doesn't know yet)

^(Personally I would compare current Luffy to God Valley Roger, both strong Haki users with good mastery of it but don't have the full knowledge of it like Prime Roger ended up becoming)

Barca did need Rodri, I feel people understimate how important is a proper DM especially when you play so aggresively

I feel people thinking that Barca didn't need Rodri are ignoring a lot of the weaknesses Barca had under Flick so far

A very major weakness Barca has under Flick is the high pressing often looks disjointed with a lot of spaces and Rodri is gonna help a lot in that. Now, I'm not saying he alone is gonna solve everything but his positioning and defensive abilities are gonna help massively in reducing the gaps between the lines and making our press far better which will make Barca way more dominant in matches

Rodri also will help Pedri since he will have more freedom and play a more advanced role. Like, people act like Pedri is just this deep lying playmaker but in reality Pedri is an extremely talented playmaker that can be very effective if played more advanced but due to FDJ not being a sole pivot then Pedri had to drop deeper.

And finally Rodri is a natural winner that's humble and professional, a player like this will be very beneficial for Barca's younger player since they can learn from the best. It's always good to have professional player who can teach the younger players.

I think Barca 26/27 will be the best Barca under Flick

I honestly feel we are gonna see the best Barca under Hansi Flick for a couple of reasons

  1. Flick's style works better with pacy wingers and next season Barca is gonna have amazing wingers like Gordon, Adeyemi and Yamal, all of these guys are fast which are perfect for Flick's system. These players are also much more suited for Flick's high pressing system than the likes of Lewandowski or Ferran who compromised Flick's pressing

  2. Several reports suggest Yamal is gonna play centrally next season which to me is great news, Yamal is great at the wing but his true potential is in central areas

  3. Rodri, Barca truly hasn't had a player that's defensively good in midfield since Busquets left so his addition would be massive and he also gives more freedom to Barca's players offensively which should make Barca even better offensively. Basically I expect Barca to attack and defend better thanks to Rodri

What are your theories for the remaining of OP when it comes to powerscaling?

Here is mine: Oda is gonna introduce Haki avatars, Oda likes inspiring from Naruto and he already introduced the whole chosen one prophecy and the final villain being some ancient being so I think Haki Avatars are gonna be a thing

Hot Take: Shanks was portrayed much better than Mihawk in Marineford

In Marineford he had Vista fighting equally with Mihawk and even laughing at the end of the fight, this means Vista wasn't pushed by Mihawk since he was enjoying. But the same Vista he was sweating for Akainu in a 2vs1 vs Marco and they even had to jump at the guy later on. But the same Akainu was sweating when Shanks came and didn't really try anything, this shows that Shanks was operating on a completely different level than both Mihawk and Akainu back then

Then we had the fact that Mihawk himself admitted inferiority to Whitebeard himself. But Shanks? He was directly portrayed as someone who can compete on equal ground with WB himself, Garp put them on par, WB's commanders were glazing his Haki like crazy and then they split the skies.

We also have Blackbeard and how strong he actually was Post-Gura, he believed he could take on everyone even Garp + Sengoku 1vs2 but when Shanks arrived he didn't want the smoke with Shanks. This is completely different from the way that Mihawk was portrayed as he previously clashed evenly with Vista like I said. Proof of Blackbeard's strength is that the Gorosei thought no one but the Yonko could take him down so Shanks basically humbling him is crazy proof of strength

We also have the fact that Shanks has geniunely stopped massive threats like Kaidou or the Navy themselves, basically he is so strong that his presence alone can force this massive forces to change their plans, the Navy wasn't planning on stopping and Kaido was planning in attacking in MF but Shank's presence was enough to stop all that. Mihawk in Marineford was never portrayed as someone with that level of influence and power, especially when we had commanders having no issues with engaging with him

Overall in terms of portrayal Shanks clears Mihawk, Mihawk admitted inferiority to Old Wb, had his attack stopped by a commander, was stalemated by Vista and left when Shanks came while Shanks stopped Kaidou, the war itself, intimidated Akainu and humbled Blackbeard.

Adeyemi signing only makes sense if Flick was always planning to play Lamine centrally, Adeyemi will give you the width while Lamine will either be used as 10 or false 9

I geniunely think that Flick is gonna use Yamal centrally this season, either as false 9 or classic 10 because only in this case does Adeyemi signing actually make sense as his playstyle is very similar to Lamine's but if Flick was always planning to play him more centrally then the move suddenly makes sense

This explains why Lamine has been tried on central areas in trainings according to reports and that's because this isn't something Flick is do due to lack of 9 available but something planned, Barca and Flick problaby had all this in mind when they started signing players.

And this is why Fermin is so important because Lamine playing centrally in a 4-2-3-1 only works if you have someone playing as shadow striker then the whole thing actually would work. You would have Lamine pulling the stringers while Fermin focuses in running to the space and scoring goals and this is a job that Fermin is good at. Especially when you have Fermin doing that too, you would have a lot of dynamism with Raphinha/Gordon/Fermin running to the space with Lamine connecting with Pedri/Rodri in the middle and Adeyemi opening the pitch.

Hot Take: Observation Killing will push Shanks to surpass Roger as I believe it's an absolute game changer especially when you combine it with Future Sight and I don't think Roger had it

I believe Shanks and Roger have similar levels of Conqueror's Haki at their peaks. THe fact that Oda confirmed Shanks was the only one that could copy Kamusari and he did it without training tells me Shanks is now operating at a similar level of Conqueror's Haki than Roger did at his peak, that's why I think oda gave Shanks the same attack as Roger to show the obvious parallel

However, Shanks having an ability like FS Killing would give him the edge above Prime Roger since that's an ability Roger never had and I don't see how Roger would even counter it. This is especially true when Shanks already has 10 second Future Sight meaning he could foresee every move that Roger was gonna use way before it happens and counter it, it would be almost impossible for Roger to pull off a win especially when their Conqueror's Haki should already be very close

Like, this ability would allow Shanks to control the flow of the fight and basically allow him to dominate Roger as Shanks would never be damaged while he would be able to land all attacks on Roger as Roger won't be able to foresee them with FS. Katakuri already showed us how important is FS, and how fighting someone without FS is basically a fight that you are unlikely to win

How you scale Gear 5 Luffy if he can regenerate fatal injuries just by wanting it?

If Chapter 1191 were to confirm that Gear 5 Luffy have regeneration and he successfully healed 2 massive sword wounds that absorb life force where would you rank Luffy?

Personally if he can do that I wouldn't have any reason for Luffy losing to Kaidou at this point and he could maybe even beat Roger. Like, Roger could geniunely fuck Luffy up and Luffy could just regenerate all just by wanting it while the damage that Luffy can do to Roger is not gonna be healed

Like, people ignore how busted this, Luffy with this ability would only lose to people that were massively above him, people who are just 1 tier above him he could beat him by regenerating multiple fatal injuries

I think Barca is gonna tear RM apart in el Clasico next season, RM has an amazing attack but their midfield is gonna get completely dominated, similar to France vs Spain

Look at Real Madrid's formation it seems like they would play with a 4-3-3 with a midfield of Valverde-Tchouameni-Bellingham with an attacking line of Mbappe-Vinicius-Diomande. And while the attack is very good the midfield lacks serious creativity

And then you have Barca who have the likes of Rodri-FDJ-Pedri-Olmo which is a very technical midfield that will very likely dominate the possesion meaning the games could end up being like the one between France and Spain in the World Cup 2026

Like, it's completely irrelevant having a world class attack if your team is completely dominated with the ball, we saw it with France-Spain and Barca did to RM in the past many times when they had the best midfield in the world

Hot Take: I think Yamal false 9 could work, players like Adeyemi, Raphinha or Gordon would actually make it work

One of the key fundations of False 9 is that they drop deeped so you can have an extra man in possesion and be super flexible. However, if you want to make this work you need players that can run to the space and take advantage of the space that the false 9 creates, that's why the best Barca under Pep was in 10/11 season where we had Pedro/Villa running to the space and this allowed Barca to dominate possesion like crazy

And the likes of Raphinha/Adeyemi/Gordon are the type of players that could complement Yamal very well, Yamal can drop deeper to have an extra man in the midfield while the other 2 would take advantage of the space Yamal create

Another thing is that Fermin is not your classic 10 playmaker, he is more of a runner in behind type of player which is why Yamal as false 9 is actually genius, you will have 3 players that are very good at running to the space which will create massive amount of spaces

Ben Beckman> Kizaru

According to Oda himself Beckman's Haki might surpass Admirals Haki which is basically an implication that Beckman's Haki is at least Admiral level but it's very likely superior. Now, someone might say that Kizaru has a DF which is true but Beckman can still beat him if his Haki exceeds his as that's how fights are usually decided

Oda also stated that Beckman's cant resist being restrained by Beckman which is basically Oda saying that Beckman didnt allow Kizaru to move becauze of his strength and not because Kizaru waa trolling

And in the manga we see Beckman forcing Kizaru to stop shooting and only doing it again once Beckman was long gone suggesting he was actually threatened by Beckman

We have other statements that state that Admirals know the threat of Ben Beckman and which also state that Kizaru was scared of Ben Beckman. Basically Beckman is portrayed above Kizaru.

And finally it's stated that Beckman's presence is comparable to Shanks and even thr strongest warriors in the New World fear him which could explain why Kizaru himself fears him
