Thought I'd ask on here as I'm assuming you guys know the ins and outs of everything. Anyway I'm heading into second year and have passed my test over the summer but before I think of buying a car is it even worth it? The only car parks I've found are like 3 hours max. I'll be staying in accom around the brayford area but I've had a little look but found nothing that makes it seem worth it but I could be wrong. Are there any areas that are free? And the important one are any of them safe? Only thing is in first year I found that stuff that I wanted to do like leisure centre, bowling etc with mates were all on the outskirts and even going to tesco because the morrisons doesnt sell everything is a pain. However I am aware of the £2 bus cap coming into effect in January I believe so it won't be as expensive just taking the bus from the new year. But still is there a way to make it worth.

I cancelled my old subscription and started the new one but it says it won’t start the plan until 2027. I need it now what tf do I do????

My town has 2 Tesco extras one is in the middle of the busy town centre and the other is near the holiday resort area/ residential areas. Both Tescos are really busy when I’m at work I may go into the one in the town centre as it’s on the way home but if not the other other one is closer. But the one near the holiday area/ residential areas has been refurbed I think at least once a month.

They’re always moving the store round, moving things, closing off more and more of the store to carry out works. There’s now a Greggs, Holland and barratt and now the petrol station has been demolished to build a new one. This is great and you’d think both Tescos would be refurbed equally but the town centre one hadn’t been updated since what looks like the 2010s the promos on the building are all from like 10 years ago and the store hasn’t been updated either. The staff always joke that one day they’ll get a refurb. The store has finally as of a few weeks ago gotten a refurb which honestly has taken them months to do it’s been “under refurbishment” for ages despite the other store getting refurbed seemingly overnight but at least it doesn’t look like something from the 2010s although it did feel like you time travelled 10 years into the past just with modern day pricing 😭

I’m just curious as to why one gets constant attention whilst the other is just left. They’re both equally busy.

I love the drum gun but it’s not exceedingly useful in close range. I’ll take anything even the regular smg or the suppressed smg. Just something else. No clue why we don’t have any light bullet smgs. I can understand with speed shooter that some smgs may become insane but there’s guns like the suppressed smg or tac smg that are slower than the drum gun 🤷‍♂️

The dishwasher plug came loose, almost came out of the wall and stopped working so dishwasher was dragged out and the plug was fixed. But upon it getting plugged back in it went into a constant cycle of making the noise it makes when it first starts with the the on flashing. Googled it and it says it’s a flood prevention system thing. Dragged dishwasher out and tipped it on an angle as it said that it works. And it did. Only problem is the dishwasher only works now in certain positions. I got it working and left it sticking out of its gap and it worked fine.

Obviously, it can’t stick out as I need to get into the cupboard next to it so I gently pushed it back. Once again, dishwasher is stuck in flood mode. I drag it out tip it, water comes out, it works and this time I put it back all the way in. Dishwasher does cycle, finishes then goes back into flood mode. It seems to only work when it’s like half way out its gap which is a nightmare as i can’t use the kitchen with a dishwasher sticking out as I can’t get into cupboards. Why is it doing this and how do I stop it?

Initially I had a 100GB plan for 18.49 a month which I filled after a few years and upgraded to 200GB. However, I was going through my bank account today and noticed that I am still being charged for the old plan. The only way to manage it is through the google photos app apparently but in the app the 200GB plan is the only one listed and there is no mention of the 100GB plan despite me still being charged for it. What do I do?

My map is set to be viewable not map as in map with code I mean the actual map to see the island. When I click my bind it just says map not available. I have it on and can’t get it to work I’ve tried restarting my console, leaving and rejoining, leaving creative and loading back in and nothing works. Pls help 🙏🙏

I’ve been learning to drive for just over a year and still struggle so bad. It’s my anxiety that messes me up. I enjoy driving around neighbourhoods and quiet streets but the moment it’s a dual carriageway or busy roundabout no matter how much practice I do I still panic mess up. My heat rate when I did my last driving test was about 130bpm for the full thing compared to 70 it was before. I don’t know how to control it.

When I panic I zone out and miss things out i make mistakes and don’t check signs. I panic and don’t check blind spots and sometimes cars have to swerve especially on busier roads. I don’t know if I just have to tell my instructor they need to just drill it into me everything I need to do until i repeat it. I’m genuinely so lost I’ve done this twice now and have been driving for what feels like ages and I still panic like I did on day 1.

Meanwhile I see people who are my age if not younger manage to smash it first time meanwhile I’m a nervous wreck every time I try and merge onto a busy roundabout. It probably didn’t help that my first instructor used to make me want to cry after every lesson but I’m just so lost on what to do. 😭

I don’t have the map disabled and can’t even view it in the hub every time I play a map it says “map not available” assuming it’s a bug. Anyone got a fix? 🙄

I’ve tried using fan mode and that’s somewhat helped but I tried to drain it and took the cap off and nothing happened i can’t find any hole for the water to come out. Tried tipping it slightly to get water out and nothing. I’m a complete noob as you would say at this. It’s been running fine since June when I got it. It’s a blyss 12,000 unit. Tried the manual and it’s just a lot of what not to do and how to use it not what to do.

I thought I would never get the you’ve used too much storage but alas a few weeks ago I got it and would download my data but I don’t really have the phone space. Is + worth it or should I just do £1.99 for 100 gb. Dont want to lose my memories 😅

Decided I’d treat myself to a dominos after going through the usual delivery apps and everywhere was ridiculously expensive (there aren’t that many places as I’m a small very deprived town) and finding Dominos was £25 for delivery for one pizza and a small garlic bread. I know people will argue this and that but I have to admit that M&S has opened up my eyes to how much fast food places rip you off.

I’d never get it from a supermarket as I’ve never found their fakeaway food to hit the spot in a way that takeaway food does plus the deals M&S do. For less than the cost of a Dominos or any other delivery place for that matter I could get 2 pizza, 2 sides and a bag of cookies for about £17. £14 without the cookies. Even their gastropub deal is insane value and way better than a takeaway.

Not paid to promote also just find it ridiculous how fast food has gotten so stupidly expensive to have plus you have to wait almost an hour to get it cold.

My app is up to date but it used to work fine up to a few months ago and now it’s so laggy. I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling and it doesn’t work. It takes ages to start the app then when I’m cycling through the stations the pictures are all switched and they take a moment to switch back. Everything feels so slow and sluggish compared to a few months ago and I’ve got no clue why.
