I have very straight lashes and the kill lash is the only mascara I've found that works wonders for me even when out in the heat and humidity. Other mascaras I've tried are Maybellline Sky High and Great Lash, Essence Lash Without Limits, Ilia Limitless Lash, Covergirl options, ELF options, etc. Ilia is my favorite out of all of them but the black kill lash is so good I use that even though I only really only like brown mascara on me.

looking to buy a basic crewneck sweatshirt with raglan sleeves that isn't oversized

It's so hard to find basic clothes that aren't oversized or super cropped. I especially want raglan sleeves in particular. Thanks!!

I really want a vintage-cut swimsuit with a slight boyshort cut but have been told this wouldn't be flattering since I am short and have curves. Which swimsuit would be most flattering? Black ribbed, black textured, or black and cream print with side panels?

I've had my eye on this particular swimsuit for several years and finally want to splurge. Which one do you think would be most flattering? Thank you <3

What is your favorite non-Boosh show with Noel or Julian?

I really liked Nathan Barley simply because the Dan Ashcroft character is so relatable. It's not like any show I've ever seen. And Flowers (especially the first season) is excellent. I love Julian's acting style. It's so laidback and believable.

Where to get cool handmade merch? Not into what I see on Etsy or Red Bubble

It's time for me to have a Boosh shirt or mug, but I'm not finding anything I like. There's a few older tees on eBay but I'm in the US and shipping is $$

My Kit

this is more than I’ve ever owned at a time but I love having options… makes for a more interesting morning but still not overwhelming

sponge (yes I cut off where it started crumbling from repeat washes), translucent powder, skin tints, spoolies for brows and lashes, brow gel, brown & black mascara, red lipsticks, tallow lip balm, red lipliner for quick touchups, sharpener, tinted lip balms, lip plumper, eyelash curler

Resources for 1930s appliqué and embroidery designs?

I’ve fallen in love with these details in 1930s fashion, and want to have a go at adding them to the garments I am currently working on. I’ve never done much embroidery or appliqué before but always wanted to so this is the perfect opportunity.

Does anyone else feel like Julian was the contrarian/outsider/loner in the group?

This is just speculation, but in interviews it sort of seems like he was the one most fed up with touring and living the comic's lifestyle. Clearly they were all partying together and fully in it for several years, but he seems so disenchanted in many of the interviews I've watched. In one, he even says "I like the countryside. I like chopping wood. I'd like to have been a carpenter..."

Do you wait to sew on patch pockets to garments when hand sewing?

It's much easier to attach pockets before piecing a garment together when using a machine, but I've found that it's easier to get an idea of how you want them placed and only a little more difficult to access when hand sewing. Another perk of using your hands instead of the machine :)
