Built the launch video for my own SaaS, biggest lesson was cutting features

https://reddit.com/link/1vrdtuq/video/6s7zut2oz1kh1/player

Built Rebuttal, an AI outreach coach, and made the launch video myself.

The biggest lesson from making it: trying to show everything makes the video worse.

I initially wanted to cover all the features, but it completely killed the pacing. Ended up cutting most of it and focusing on one clear hook + 3 core moments instead of turning it into a feature tour.

The product is still being updated, but you can see the project/video here:
https://www.avido.in/work/rebuttal-launch

I also run Avido Studio, where I make launch, explainer, and demo videos for SaaS products.

Would love to hear what you think of the video or the way we positioned the product. Feedback appreciated!

Built 30+ demo and explainer videos for AI and SaaS products, here is what I learned

The hardest brief in AI products: explaining something that works invisibly. No UI, no dashboard, just a concept that has to land in seconds.

Most founders try to show everything. What actually works: sell the feeling first, then the product.

Made 30+ videos for SaaS and AI products, here is the one thing that works every time

Most vibe coded products are hard to explain. Too many features, no obvious demo moment, or the product just works invisibly in the background.

The trick: don't show everything. Open with the real problem first. Everything else clicks after that.

What i learned making a 2 minute walkthrough for a SaaS with too many features

Just finished a demo video for OBPrint, a print shop management platform.

The product does a lot. Quotes, orders, production tracking, payments, AI marketing tools. The natural instinct was to show everything.

We didn't.

Opened with a single moment: a shop owner standing in their business not knowing where anything is. That one moment made every feature land as a solution instead of just another screen on a list.

The lesson: the more features your product has, the more important it is to open with one clear problem.

AMD Ryzen 9 9950X vs Intel Core Ultra 9 285K vs i9-14900K, which for hot climate regions? Creative work + gaming

Building a PC for After Effects, Cinema 4D/Blender rendering, video editing, some local AI inference, and gaming. I'm in a region where summers regularly hit 42-45°C and ambient room temps stay around 28-32°C even with AC.

Comparing these three:

  • AMD Ryzen 9 9950X: 16 cores, strong multi-core but pulls 200W+, worried about thermals in this heat
  • Intel Core Ultra 9 285K: latest Intel, better efficiency, but is it mature enough for creative workloads?
  • Intel i9-14900K: suggestion from a vendor, but 13th/14th gen degradation issues make me hesitant

Questions:

  1. Is the 9950X's heat manageable with a 360mm AIO given high ambient temps?
  2. Is the i9-14900K still a safe buy in 2026 or should I avoid it entirely?
  3. Is Arrow Lake actually worth it over 9950X for creative work right now?
  4. Which of these three best balances creative workloads + gaming?

Full build: RTX 5070 Ti, 64GB DDR5-6000, 1000W PSU, 360mm AIO.

People who've built in hot climate regions or do similar workloads, would really appreciate your input.

Built a 2-minute product demo covering an entire SaaS workflow

[For Hire] Motion graphics explainer videos for SaaS

https://reddit.com/link/1u3ieqe/video/pc1s9ovkfr6h1/player

I create explainer and demo videos for SaaS products. Just finished one for OBPrint, a shop management platform for print shops and screen printers.

The brief was explaining a complex system (quotes, orders, production, AI marketing) without overwhelming viewers. We opened with the real pain: a shop owner unsure where their orders are. From there, everything makes sense.

More work: avido.in

Starting at $450. DM if you have something in mind.

Built something with a lot of moving parts? Here's what we learned.

https://reddit.com/link/1u2kyct/video/r6t9oiw41k6h1/player

Recently made this demo video for a platform with quotes, orders, production, payments, and AI features packed in. The biggest mistake most founders make is trying to show everything at once.

What actually works: open with the real problem. A shop owner standing in their business unsure where anything is. From there, the solution clicks immediately.

The video that sells best is the one that doesn't try too hard to sell.

If you're dealing with the same complexity in your product, happy to chat about approaches. Avido has examples if you want to see the thinking.

Demo video for AyeWatch - AI that only alerts you when it matters

Shipped this demo video for AyeWatch a while ago, an AI monitoring tool that cuts through internet noise.

Here’s the insight: most product videos fail because they focus on features instead of addressing feelings. AyeWatch is designed to be invisible; there’s no user interface moment and no dramatic dashboard. So the video couldn't rely on visuals.

Instead, we centered it on relief. It conveys the feeling of not being overwhelmed. That’s what actually sells monitoring tools.

The lesson I learned is that if your product addresses a problem people can't see, your video should sell the emotion, not the feature. Most founders try to show everything. Sometimes, less is more.
