My comfort dudes.
This isn't even all of them! I have a few others, but didn't want to throw all of them on here.

I love this song with all my heart. It's become my go-to when I need a good, cathartic, comfort cry.
I'm looking for songs that don't necessarily have the same theme, but songs that are upbeat that are kind of sentimental and hit you right in the feels.
EDIT: They don't have to be ADTR songs! The way I wrote the title is confusing.
Didn't know what tag put this under.
I'm no stranger to commissioning art of my OCs, I've been doing it for years. My characters are pretty simple and could easily be described in a paragraph or two when commission art of them for the first time, since I can't draw all that well.
Well, I'm putting together a couple of AdMech OCs and would like to commission art of them at some point. They're both moderately complex, as AdMech tend to be, and I'm not super confident in my ability to describe them to an artist just using text alone.
Has anyone else with AdMech OCs run into this issue? Do I slap together a derpy sketch? Put together a collage of already existing AdMech artwork and specifiy the parts? (i.e. "Mechadendrites look like this" "respirator looks like this" "vox grille is shaped like this."). I just don't want to overwhelm/confuse the artist.
EDIT: I've gotten a lot of chat requests regarding this. Dunno if people have something set up to where they get alerted any time someone posts something about commissions, but almost all of said message requests are artists looking to offer their services. I am VERY choosy when it comes to commissions and prefer to seek artists out myself. Right now I'm JUST looking for advice.
I searched both Mercari and Yahoo Auctions Japan and didn't find much.
Can either be Japanese L or XL or American L or XL.
With the anniversary of his passing coming up, I wanted to throw this question out here again.
I asked this same question on this sub a couple of years ago. I asked it over on r/perfumesthatfeellike to see if I could get some mainstream/niche recommendations, but I got absolutely no bites on that post. So, I'm here asking again! The two fragrances that were recommended to me last time were Death And Floral's 'Kodachrome' and Stone & Witt's 'Neon Noir'. Kodachrome has proven difficult to find, but I did get my hands on Neon Noir. I like it, but I feel like the brightness of the lime note gets buried by the others. What I have in mind is something sharp, tangy, citrusy, bold, maybe a little weird, maybe with some spring vibes. Spring has always been "hide season" for me.
Hide was, and still is, an inspiration for me. He gave my clueless teenage self direction and helped me find my style. He taught me to be bold and not be afraid to stand out, to not be afraid to express myself even if those around me judge me for it. Plus he's the whole reason I love the industrial, atomic, nuclear/radioactive "aesthetic".
My husband and I were cleaning out his late parents' house last weekend in preparation for renovations. I was cleaning out one of the upstairs rooms and found a box labeled "turntable". I opened it up and pulled this out. I know nothing about this maker (I grew up in a Pioneer and Sony household), but I was able to find out that this is a German brand that was likely sold for around $200 in the very early 80s. This more than likely belonged to my husband's dad, who was a bit of an audiophile and loved his high-end, high-quality hifi equipment.
I already have an Audio Technica that I love with my whole entire heart, so I have no intention of replacing her with this one. Not looking to sell it or anything, I'm just curious to know if this is a decent table. It needs a new cartridge and one of the cover hinges is broken, but other than that it's in great shape.
I've been making the same smoothie for breakfast for the last 6 years: A handful of spinach, frozen mixed berries up to the top of the Nutribullet cup, 1 scoop of Orgain protein MWF, a tablespoon of powdered peanut butter TTH, oat milk up to the liquid fill line. It makes about 30oz and it keeps me full for about an hour, but by 9:30 I'm hungry again. I lift weights three days a week and my muscles are hungry. I'm trying to be mindful of calories, especially empty calories since I do sit at a desk all day, and cut back on idle snacking.
I know flax and chia seeds are popular, and I've looked at those, but they're a bit pricey. Are those my best option, or are there others I should consider?
Been after this for *years*.
This is the best screenshot I could get from the HIDE OUR PSYCOMMUNITY performance of 50% & 50%.
It doesn't look like it was a custom-made piece and he wore both this red one and a yellow one on that tour. Curious if anyone knows the brand or any specific terms I can search for.
I discovered VK in 2004 courtesy of an online friend. It got me through high school and some parts of college and several major life milestones.
I have a small handful of songs that kick me right in the nostalgia 'nards every time I hear them. They are:
Juibun Kakumei - Miyavi
Kudou - Dir en Grey
Umbrella - Dir en Grey
Pistol - 12012
Smile no Ichiban Ii Onna - AnCafe
Romancia - Phantasmagoria
Vanilla - Gackt
Velvet - Alice Nine
Tentai Umbrella - Alice Nine
Breeding - hide
Rocket Dive - hide
I'm sure there are others, but those are the big ones.
What are yours?
