I’m working on MMA manager sim

I’ve been building an MMA manager sim game over the last few months, and my Steam page has been live for about 2 months now. Recently, I updated the game dramatically, including the Steam page itself (still no trailer though).

A free teaser version called “The Showcase” is also planned to release soon on itch.io :
https://digital-realms-studio.itch.io/elite-mma-manager

It will be a limited teaser version of the game (not a full demo) and will launch alongside a Discord channel.

I’d love to hear what kind of impression you get from the screenshots and the game overall.

I’m working on MMA manager sim

I Have been working on a solo developed MMA management game called Elite MMA Manager with page up on Steam and I wanted to finally share some gameplay clips from it.

The main idea is managing fighters from early prospect level all the way to potential championship runs while dealing with:

  • contracts
  • sponsorships
  • training camps
  • injuries
  • random events and drama
  • fighter personalities
  • career progression

Fights play out through a live text-based system with dynamic commentary, stamina, body damage and momentum swings.

One of my main goals with the game is making fighters feel like actual people with careers and stories instead of just stats on a spreadsheet, and make the game feel like a sim+story generator for players.

Still polishing a lot of things and improving the presentation and game feel, but Im finally getting to a point where the game feels good enough to start showing it more publicly.

Also later Im planing on adding modding support so it will be possible to change all the names, stats and graphics in the games for - Promotions, Fighters, Managers and more.

Would genuinely love to hear what people think good and bad.

Elite MMA Manager - gameplay loop improvement ideas

Im Working hard on finalising the gameplay loop for my game Elite MMA Manager.

The core idea is that you are not controlling fighters directly but you are building careers and managing everything around them to make sure they progress well in a dynamic MMA universe with AI fighters, promotions, rival managers and more.

Current systems include:

  • Fighter contracts
  • Sponsorships
  • Gyms & training camps
  • Fight preparation - game plan and prep training focus.
  • Morale & personalities - effecting everything from fights to out of the cage random events.
  • Random events - tension and drama also drives storytelling part of the game.
  • Manager reputation progression - the "level" stat of the players.
  • Live text-based fights with dynamic commentary, stamina and body damage systems

The goal is to make every save create unique stories naturally, with simple info like personality and fighting background changing outcomes dramatically.

You might build an unknown prospect into a champion or destroy a career with bad matchmaking and bad preparation.

I am currently focusing mostly on polishing and making the world feel more alive rather than adding giant new systems.

Would love to hear what features are the most important for a game like this? and what is you general opinion on the current game loop?

Been working on the live fight system for my MMA management game. It’s text-based, but fights are driven by stats, traits, stamina, and real-time damage to different body parts later effecting injuries. Still tweaking pacing/readability and "juice", so curious if it’s easy to follow and feels engaging. Any feedback is welcome.

I’m working on a text-based MMA management game Elite MMA Manager, and one of the core ideas is that the world isn’t just fighters it’s a full ecosystem.

These are the “main actors”:

• Fighters - stats + traits + personality actually affect behavior

• Managers - control careers and decisions

• Promotions - rankings, belts, event structure

• Owners - influence matchmaking and direction

• Gyms - where fighters improve and interact

Trying to make it feel like a living MMA world, not just menus.

Would love feedback and ideas!

Hey!

I’ve been working on polishing the UIHere’s a quick look at the new vs old versions.

My goal is to make everything cleaner, easier to read, and more “MMA Manager” style of ui and not a generic one.

I’d love to hear what you think:

1)Does the new layout feel better?

2)What you expect in general from such game?

Your feedback can really help!

- Elite MMA Manager - on steam - coming soon! -
