I randomly thought "what if Twisted Wonderland characters were in Ever After High?", and started to think about who would be the son of who (I'm not just going off of Disney movies, because Ever After High isn't based on Disney).

There's the straightforward characters, we've ofc got:

Riddle as the son of the Queen of Hearts

Azul as the son of the Sea Witch

Jamil as the son of The Magician from Aladdin

Kalim as the son of The Sultan from Aladdin

Vil as the son of The Evil Queen

Rook as the son of The Huntsman

Idia and Ortho as the sons of Hades (Given that C.A Cupid is the daughter of Eros and was an exchange student to Ever After High, I think Hades still works)

Malleus as the son of The Dark Fairy

Silver as the son of Sleeping Beauty

and Lilia as the son of one of The Good Fairies (while also secretly being Silver's adopted father, as he is in the game)

But what about the less straightforward characters? The Heartslabyul characters could still be the kids of their respective card soldiers, but what about characters like Epel, the Savannaclaw students, Jade and Floyd, and Sebek, who are either based on objects or Disney-specific characters who don't have fairy tale counterparts?

I could see Jack as the son of the Big Bad Wolf from Little Red Riding Hood, but what about everyone else?

Who do you think they'd be the kids of if they were in Ever After High?

I made a post and said that I don't like Rook because he freaks me out, makes me uncomfortable, and I have a visceral reaction to him whenever he's on my screen.

I got a lot of flack for this, and I feel I should explain why I don't like Rook.

When I was in 6th grade, there was an 8th grade boy who kept coming onto me and flirting, even though I rejected him multiple times. Long story short, turns out he lived in the apartment across from me, and his bedroom window was right across from mine. My blinds were broken, so I couldn't close them, and he was watching me through the window. I didn't change in my bedroom for three years, and always tried to stay away from my window as much as possible. I moved out after graduating from 8th grade, and live in a different state, now.

I can't see Rook without being reminded of him, and I just can't enjoy his character. I'm sure he's great, but he brings back bad memories. I hope you guys understand, but please don't come at me because I don't like Rook. I know he has his fans, and I don't mean to upset any of them, but I just can't enjoy Rook because of my past experiences with that 8th grader.

I'm a new TWST player on book 3, and for some reason, even though I've heard his voice (both in the original game and the English dub of the anime), I internally read his dialogue like a 1940s New Yorker/Gangster. Like, as if he's from The Godfather or something.

In my head, I read him as a Don of the fish mafia, yk, with that exaggerated New York accent and a cigar in his hand as he sits at his fancy desk in his leather swivel chair, telling his bodyguards to see his "guest" out.

I have no idea why I do this: I've heard his voice, and yet that's the voice I read his dialogue in. Does anyone else do this?

I'm really interested in getting into Varian and The Seven Kingdoms and was introduced to it via Varigo fanart I found, but there's so many fics, I don't know where to start.

I'm looking for fics particularly on AO3 or Wattpad, but I'm open to fics anywhere else as well. I'm also a little partial to Varigo. I can't believe we missed out on a cute, nerdy, neurodivergent-coded romance!

What are the best fics I should read?

I love making OCs, as you can probably tell by the sheer quantity of the characters I made. (how do I finish them so quickly?... I work on them all at the same time... Very inefficient, I know, but my brain just won't stop giving me ideas before I finish one character) I'm trying to make one for each house.

But... I've got too many ideas and I don't know which one to make next! I've got ideas for:

Prince John (Robin Hood, who would be in Savanaclaw)

Maid Marian (also from Robin Hood, but would be an RSA student and the Prince John OC's cousin)

Rapunzel & Cassandra (Tangled, the idea is like "what if Rapunzel and Cassandra were raised as siblings?")

Anastasia (Don Bluth's Anastasia, ofc, and also an RSA student... Because Disney does own the rights to Anastasia, so don't come at me saying she isn't a Disney character.)

I have no ideas for a Scarabia character, though. There's not a lot of characters in Aladdin, or a lot of characters who would fit in Scarabia. I was thinking of Scheherazade from 1,001 Nights, which is where the original folk tale of Aladdin is from, but I don't really know how to adapt Scheherazade into Twisted Wonderland.

Please help, I don't know which character to do first 😭

I, 19 NB (AFAB), started strength training around a week or more ago. I'm on a weight loss journey, and while I did get down to my goal weight, I need to tone up.

I do strength training twice a week, since I go to the gym with my mom and she takes classes on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, and I don't want to intrude on their classes (I work out with the machines they have when I'm not on the floor, where classes are usually held. Technically I can go in while class is happening, but I worry about intruding while everyone's working out. But I do go in to do floor workouts while there's classes happening if I need to make up for missed days).

What are some tips you can give me?

I just found out that Cater and I have the same birthday, February 4.
