for some reason my screen turns black when I look at a boat in the nether, but only in certain direcitons, any help appreciated!

I do custodian during the summer. This was in one of the stalls at a Jr. high. 🤣
It was in sharpie and did not come off with anything I used, including a magic eraser (in hand). 🤦🏼♀️
