I like blade so I was thinking having the blu ray would be cool and I could finally watch them all but I also just finished red dead redemption 2 and have been looking for another game to play and I hear the Witcher is very expansive. I’m not a sword and sorcery guy but it interests me. I’m a teen so I’m not swimming in my own cash so I can only get one for the time being.

I have no idea why this man has a chokehold on this genre when almost all of his horror efforts are absolute dogshit. Cabin Fever is a bit of a wasted concept. Green Inferno looks disgusting (the camera quality, the way it’s shot.) and could be considered downright racist. Thanksgiving is nowhere near as good as the Grindhouse short and just feels like an attempt to cash in on Scream’s comeback. Hostel 1 is amazing. Hostel 2 I can sorta appreciate. But the rest of his films make me wonder why he is such a big figure in this community.

Two movies I can say follow this rule are Taxi Driver and The Wild Bunch. I really enjoyed how the whole film set up their very violent endings. Bonus points if it’s mostly practical effects.

I’m making my way through the og Ultraman and I wanna watch Kamen Rider too. What are some highlight series for that brand. If it helps these aren’t necessary but I do like some violent stuff but it doesn’t have to be crazy and as weird as it sounds I’m a sucker for fish monsters. Again, you don’t need those two things but it’s good to note.

I really enjoy practical effects, creatures, and insane martial arts battles. So, I really wanna find a lot of movies that could basically be described as “Power Rangers but Bloody as hell”.
