For me I used to think they're maybe between the ages of 14-19 🤣 til I started to read author's note where the author were talking about their struggles with university or their schedule or their 2 or 3 jobs or their love life or their friendships or their marriage/kids or about other struggles with other problems 😭 and they be writing whole chapters, heart wrecking, tear dropping and sometimes relatable chapters and putting the characters through such situations too and its all so well written i feel for them authors though 🫰🤣😭 now I have new perspective on the authors and have realized that they're just like us our ages our struggles and makes me appreciate them more when they update their WIP or when they're dropping new works 🫰🙂‍↕️

Honestly as someone who watches shows and movies I can relate to this A LOT, some movies I like sometimes lack character depth and interactions between other characters and boom they get killed off like they have so much potential 🙂‍↕️ or shows where canon also doesn't do enough justice for characters or enough world building etc, fanfic genuinely elevates not only the characters but also concepts and gives to the canon so much, some fics to me becomes the new canon just because they're THAT GOOD. I remember finishing this long fic in this small kdrama fandom it was crossover with another kdrama show as well if the same genre and I was really sad when it was over, really wished if there's a fic about it or multiple fics, it was really interesting, although I didn't know my wish was such a universal experience 🥹 😭

Garlic salt must be protected by all means necessary 😭I love looking at old fics, stories and just laughing at how hilarious and silly some sentences sound and then finding some good lines, paragraphs and ideas that I be wondering:" wait I wrote this and that?" it all has place in my heart and I never r delete, or throw it away (if it's on paper, notebook, etc) I just keep em all🥹😭
