Felt like drawing another female character, eventually settling on a Samurai Shodown character. (Plus I’m fan of SNK games and I didn’t want to do just Fatal Fury for this collection) I actually drew this in a day instead of my usual two days. On the first day I had a pose but the next day I didn’t like her facing back so I scrapped that and somehow managed to finish this in time. I think it turned out decent enough.

Another 3 weeks means I’m doing another character from a member of the Big 3 Fighting Games. When picking a Mortal Kombat character I quickly decided to do Cage after deciding on this fun format that references his Friendship. I personally played MK11 the most out of any MK game so I went with one his designs from that game. Also recently decided to start incorporating pens so I used a drawing pen on his shades and eyes along with a blue pen on the writing.

Wanted a bit more of a deep cut with my next character drawing, and wanted to draw a female fighter I liked. Eventually I settled on Akira from Rival Schools since I’ve always liked her aesthetic and story. Unfortunately was a little late on posting this but here it is! Also halfway through this challenge and it’s been a blast to draw so frequently! :D

Even in a game like Guilty Gear with such unique and memorable designs, Faust still manages to stand out from the rest. It was surprisingly tough to draw his proportions. I thought it’d be easier due to looking unnatural, but it became clear it’s been a while since I exaggerated proportions this much. This was a fun drawing session though! Took a while to even decide on a Guilty Gear character since I pretty much wanted to draw them all, but I eventually decided on a character that’d stand out from the rest of my drawings and I think it paid off!

Managed to finish this RIGHT before the week ended. I spent a while just thinking of a character to draw before deciding that I needed someone from one of the big three fighting game franchises. Went with my main in Tekken 3. Gotta say even though it was a bit rushed, I like how it turned out! Also usually I draw characters standing straight up, so it was fun to draw a more interesting pose!

Apparently this city has been getting disturbances from multiple realms, the digital realm just being one of them. Maybe there’s more to explore than just the living realm.

Out of all the drawings I’ve made in recent memory this probably took the longest. I think it might have taken half a day in total or even more in drawing time, while it took a week with me doing everything else in life. I’m used to drawing single characters in a simple background, not a ton of characters with a complex background. However I wanted to give it a try. Definitely a lot of fun to explore this idea I had. It originally started as just Jax and company walking through a city but then I decided to liven it up with cameos from characters from other animated web series. In order to fill this drawing with characters I ended up discovering some really cool shows!

Because this took so long, I decided to give you guys a bonus work in progress image before coloring and the background details.

If you’re confused about who’s who, (Which I don’t blame you, I struggle to draw small) then here’s a guide to all the characters:
- [Upper half, left to right] Zoe, Moth, Alice (All from Wastelandia) are sitting on the billboard. You can find Suction Cup Man (From the series of the same name) climbing the side of the C&A building. On the red building to the right of the C&A building you can see Gildedguy (From the series of the same name) standing on the roof.
-[Lower half, left to right] The Second Coming, (Animator VS Animation) and Tricky the Clown (Madness Combat) stand on the sidewalk across from Riggy (Toon Turf). Skid and Pump (Spooky Month) are climbing a streetlight above Strong Bad (Homestar Runner). To the right of Strong Bad is Edd (Eddsworld). Above Edd is Stone (Ramshackle), and above Stone is Miss Circle (Fundamental Paper Education). To the right of Miss Circle is Steve (Bigtop Burger) and to the right of Steve is Cameraman (Skibidi Toilet) and SMG4 (From the series of the same name). To the right of Edd is Captain (Tankmen), and above Captain is ENA (From the series of the same name). Above SMG4 is Salad Fingers (From the series of the same name). To the right of Two is Satina (From the series of the same name) and to the right of Aura is Gogo Matsumoto (Punch Punch Forever). To the right of Satina is the “I Like Trains” Guy (asdfmovie) and above him is Kit (Gameoverse). To the right of Kit is Greenshirt (Cyanide and Happiness), to the right of Greenshirt is Nabiu (The Fruitless Quests of Nabiu), and below Nabiu is Stolas (Helluva Boss)

Season 3 has finally been revealed, and I think it’s a solid line up so far! As a newbie to this franchise I’m definitely interested in playing as Rick and Duck for the first time. However I want to talk about the mystery characters. What immediately caught my eye was the fact that Laocorn was given a November release while the October release is a mystery. (Which may imply that mystery character is gonna tie into something releasing around the time)
Up to this point, mystery characters have either:

1. Been a character from another SNK franchise
2. A guest character
   I made a post about a couple weeks ago pointing out how when this game collaborated with Fist of the North Star, they released an album labeled as “Special Collaborations”. Considering that and the fact we’re living in the era of guest characters, at least one of these spots is probably a guest. There’s also the possibility of more AOF representation, though I have a feeling they’ll throw in a SNK wildcard down the road (I doubt they’ll have a KOF character, but they may have someone like Gai Tendo from Buriki One)

Rick and Duck were two highly requested characters since the game was announced so I’m glad they’re getting in.
OG Kim was definitely a surprise to me, considering we already have both Kim twins. I’m gonna guess and say he’s going to be treated like a master character. (Like Mr Karate)
Laocorn seems to be the main villain of this season’s story, and it’s cool to see someone who didn’t originated from the games not only getting a spot on the roster, but presumably a major part of the story.
Last two spots probably consist of another AOF character (Or maybe a character from another SNK fighting game) and a guest character.

Reason I made it the Under Night design is because that’s what introduced me to the character. I really like Under Night and Melty Blood so I wanted to draw a character who could represent both series.

Obviously this is an exaggeration, I’ve seen meme predictions for Fatal Fury and some of the most predicted characters for Guilty Gear make sense. (Ragna fits pretty well in the Guilty Gear world) I’ve just seen a lot more meme picks from Guilty Gear fans.

Emo Jax became canon

It’s my summer break, I’m bored, so I’m going to have fun and draw a bunch of fighting game characters. Felt like doing one of the most iconic fighting game characters for a good start. (Plus it’s about time I drew Terry in his classic costume rather than his MOTW/COTW design like I usually do)

Go ahead and come up with ideas for this demon rabbit. It was just an idea I had and I thought I should share it.

With the addition of Kenshiro, the game now has some tracks from Fist of the North Star. However unlike the Street Fighter tracks that are in their own album, these tracks are in an album labeled as “Special Collaborations”. Do you think this means that more collaborations are planned for Season 3? I doubt that they’d create an album called “Special Collaborations” and only have one franchise in it.
