Landscaper for backyard makeover?

My backyard is a disaster with weeds, overgrown gardens, a messy lawn, and some hardscaping that needs fixing.

We are looking for someone/a company that can do it all and help us make the backyard a place we actually want to spend time in.

Who do you all recommend? Bonus points if you have actually used them and can tell me what they did for you!

Best play couch in Canada? [ca]

I know it’s early but I’m looking to get my boy one of those play/climbing couches for Christmas. He’ll be 9 months old.

Any recommendations for the best ones at the best prices available in Canada (or without crazy shipping)?

5 month old fell off bed

I put him down on the bed to get dressed like I do all the time and next thing I know he’s suddenly on the ground and screaming. I feel like the worlds worst mom and I don’t know what to do. He screamed for a bit and then took a bottle and now is contact napping on me. No blood or obvious injury but what am I supposed to watch for? Does he need to go to ER if he seems fine?

Am I awful? I feel awful.

4m old boy with pimples on head

4 month old baby boy, 15.5lbs, 28” long, no medication, non-smoker

My baby has these pimples on his scalp. He has cradle cap which is clearing up but the pimples seem worse. He has had one or two for a while but the last couple days it seems like more. They don’t appear to be bothering him at all.

Is this normal? What can we do?

False starts, early wakes, short naps! Help!

Please help! We’re dealing with combo of short naps, false starts and early wakes.

Baby is 4 months old. These days I’m lucky to get a nap that goes over 45 minutes. And then at night we keep having false starts, 1-2 wakes and then an early rise.

Yesterdays schedule looked like this:

- woke up 5:30am and was able to be shushed back to sleep

- woke up 6:45 and was wide awake

- awake 1 hour 35 minutes

- napped 8:20-9:10 (50 min nap)

- awake 2 hours 15 minutes

- napped 11:25-12:40 (1 hour 15 min nap)

- awake 1 hour 35 minutes

- napped 2:15-2:50 (35 min nap)

- awake 2 hours 20 minutes

- napped 5:10-5:40 (30 min nap)

- awake 2 hours

- bedtime at 7:50

- false start wake at 8:35, got him back to sleep then another wake at 8:55

- back to bed at 9:00

- wake up at 1:35am for feed

- woke up 5:20am and could not get back to sleep

Nap total: about 3 hours

Night total: 8.5 hours

This was pretty similar to the past few days and I need help, I’m tired and I think baby is too but can’t get the sleep he needs but I don’t know how to fix it.

We used to get much better sleep so not sure if this is part of the 4 month regression?

Any tips on what to do?

How long is too long without pooping? [ca]

My breastfed baby hasn’t pooped in 4 days but seems perfectly fine. He’s not obviously uncomfortable or straining or anything and his belly is soft. I know breastfed babies can go a while without pooping but is there a point that it becomes concerning and I should call his doctor?

Diarrhea After Sex Postpartum

I’m 14 weeks postpartum and have had sex twice since getting cleared at my 6 week OB appointment. Both times I was hit with diarrhea afterwards. The first time I also experienced some pretty intense cramping and vomiting but the second time seems to be just diarrhea.

Is this normal? Is there something wrong with me or my pelvic floor?

What does “following their own curve” mean and how do you tell?

My baby is gaining but sort of slowly but he was a huge boy when he was born (10lbs 0.8oz at birth). I weigh at home as well and when I enter it into the huckleberry app the percentile it shows has gone down but is that fine if he’s still gaining weight?

Based on my home scale, he gained 0.65lbs in the last 2.5 weeks which is a little low according to Google. Has anyone else had a slow grower that is perfectly fine?

I have so much anxiety about this. At his appt 2.5 weeks ago the doctors were not concerned but I’m just constantly stressed about his weight anyway. Please reassure me if this is okay!

Milk consumption decrease help [ca]

My 10 week old is eating less than he was a week or two ago. He only snacks and takes like 1-2.5oz at a time instead of the 3.5-4.5 he was taking before.

Overall he’s usually eating 20-25oz a day (last week he averaged closer to 28-30oz).

Is this fine? How do I get him to take more from the bottle each feeding? Or is this normal for his age?

And yes he still has plenty of wet diapers and he is very alert and pretty happy usually when he’s awake!

I am exclusively pumping so baby is bottle fed breast milk if that matters
