The Goon of Gurgaon: RS Bath

The goon of Gurgaon, RS Bath, probably got his job through bribery and goes to people's homes and breaks parts of their houses, even when they have the required permissions.

He goes to liquor stores even when they are outside his jurisdiction, harasses the owners, and assaults employees.

He also goes to private offices and destroys things simply because the owners object to him breaking their signs, even when those signs are on private property.

There are thousands of cases of this goon allegedly assaulting people and engaging in illegal behaviour, while recording people without their consent. When they fight back, he gets police officers to hold them.

What permission does he have to do all this? 🗿💀

Why isn't he going to Camellias or other rich areas in Gurgaon, where people stop others from accessing public roads simply because rich thieves live there?

Shankar Road, Rajendra Nagar: When the Powerful Get Away With Everything and Ordinary People Pay the Price

The situation on Shankar Road, Rajendra Nagar, has become extremely frustrating. At night, it is almost impossible to walk on the footpaths because large portions of them have effectively been taken over by restaurants and eateries. Customers are being served in cars parked directly in front of the footpaths, leaving pedestrians with little or no space to walk.

What is even more concerning is that many people sitting in these cars appear to be drinking alcohol and then driving away. Yet, despite the obvious public-safety concerns, there seems to be very little action against them.

Instead, the focus appears to be on students and ordinary people who are simply eating at shops late at night. If there are genuine violations, the same law should apply to everyone—not just those who don't have money, influence, or connections.

There are also allegations that certain establishments are able to operate without interference because of bribes or improper arrangements with the local police. If these allegations are true, they should be investigated properly.

Honestly, situations like this make you feel that this country is beyond repair. The rich and well-connected can seemingly pay their way out of trouble, while the poor and ordinary citizens are filmed, harassed, humiliated, and publicly shamed by people who act as if they are above the law.

The real question is: why aren't the authorities dealing with the obvious problems—encroachment, obstruction of public footpaths, and possible drinking and driving—instead of targeting students and ordinary citizens?

The law should be equal for everyone. Public spaces belong to the public, and no restaurant, influential person, police officer, politician, or local goon should be above it.

Haylee Baylee’s Indian Street Food Skit inframe: Haleyybaylee

I think content like this needs to be called out in the mainstream, and her account should be mass reported.

Remember, she is the same woman who made an entire podcast about her ex's dick size, got sued, and lost.

I also think the banning of TikTok in India has contributed to this negative image of India being popularised.

Someone should also tag Amit Khilor on this.

Help needed desperately

I am really worried about the exam.

I started preparing around this time last year. I hadn't studied anything in the previous decade, so it took me quite a while just to complete the syllabus.

I still haven't covered Probability and Mensuration in Quant. I also haven't memorized squares, cubes, and square roots because I thought I would do that in the last few days so I could remember them properly. I also haven't practiced miscellaneous Reasoning properly.

My mock scores are all over the place, ranging from 40 to 55.

Kindly help me clear the SBI PO Prelims. I desperately need to clear it.

I have been studying while also working and handling household responsibilities.

Asking for Help from fellow redditors

To everyone who regularly posts here about the protest: please also post in subreddits where you aren't active, as well as in BJP-ruled state subreddits and subreddits with older audiences, so that people can know the facts and make the right choice by having all the information.

I'm going to start doing this myself tonight.

Hopefully, others will follow as well.

The Selective Activism I Can't Understand

One of the weirdest things I've noticed lately, as the NEET protest has gained traction, is that many of the same people—mainly privileged South Delhi liberals—who posted countless Instagram stories in support of Palestine throughout 2024 are nowhere to be seen now.

When they're called out, the responses are often:

"I don't agree with this way of protesting."

"I don't want the government to track me."

"Why should I post? Maybe my children will need government exam papers in the future."

Some of these reasons strike me as exaggerated, as if they believe they're the main character in the country's political landscape.

What I fail to understand is the inconsistency. If someone believes in speaking up for causes they care about, why does that principle seem to apply selectively? What explains this kind of hypocrisy or mindset?
