Rocket feels amazing to play this season!

I'll admit, on paper, the buffs didn't seem like the craziest thing ever, I was more focused on "Will they revert the mobility changes?" but I tried to keep an open mind and just try it out fior myself, as I thought he felt boring to play last season.

This season though? Not only is he a good healer again, but his ability to shred tanks is improved as well. Still early on, but it feels like Rocket is a legimate threat again. What do you think so far?

Devil Dinosaur is the most hyped I've ever been about a character release

I don't even know who Devil Dinosaur is, but this character looks like a badass vanguard. How can I say no to a giant satanic tyrannasaurus rex that shoots laser beams?

This is exactly what the game needed

Games with atrocious writing pretending to be complex

I can get behind going so insane/over the top that it circles around and becomes entertaining, but I hate when convoluted writing is excused for being deep.

Complex doesn't mean good, and franchises like these come across as manipulative because they don't have interest in telling a compelling story, it's just breadcrumbing to sell the next product to the point of being frustrating. They want you to be invested in the continuity, but don't put in the actual effort.

A game you can get really immersed in that's singleplayer as your recent obsession?

I'm pretty open minded on genre, but outside of online multiplayer games? There hasn't been a true singleplayer experience in awhile I got truly immersed in, and I miss that. Something to play after work to look forward to.

These are loose examples, but I remember playing Persona 5 and that game had me hooked beginning to end, and even games like TCG card shop simulator thatweren't story driven but man, they become your obsession for awhile because of how fun the game is. Strikes that good balance of engaging, but not exhausting/frustrating.

I'm okay with a good challenge though if it's well designed, Cuphead and Elden Ring come to mind. Open world games have been hit or kiss for me, the only one that ever truly grabbed me was skyrim back in the day

Is this game good solo or with randoms?

This game looked cool and seems to have glowing reviews on steam, but I wasn't sure if it would be good if I didn't always have friends to play with. The closest type of game I've played is maybe deep rock galactic?

We need more main tanks/solo tanks

Most of the tanks feel pretty viable this season, and there's a good variety of platystyles in the vanguard role and find many of them fun to play. My only issue is most of them are off tanks, so if you don't have a second tank (which is 90% of the time), it's rougher than it needs to be.

Because of this, it limits your options to basically Groot, Magneto and Strange, and Groot gets banned a lot in my games so the options are even more limited if you want a normal comp.

I love frontlining too, and really hope devil dino is not another off tank, I want to be the jurassic park frontline
