Listen I try my best and I have definitely left puzzles unfinished but I have a streak going and sometimes I do Google the answers when I’m REALLY stumped. And usually it’s a word I’ve never heard of and there is no way I’d come up with it on my own (especially if it’s connected to another word I don’t know so I can’t even guess)

My husband gets so angry that I’m “cheating” but if a couple words make or break whether or not I complete the puzzle then who cares! It’s not that serious right? Then I know a new word for next time!

I’ve been playing the crossword daily for a couple months now after a 3 year hiatus. recently I’ve noticed the same words are being reused a lot. Is this typical? Eg. I feel like >!AHAB!< is an answer in one of the puzzles almost daily.
I do like the wordplay themes (today was tricky until I figured it out) but some days I’m just bored of the same clue. I’m just wondering if this is normal in the world of crosswords?

I’m a mom now but I grew up playing MK and I have some fun memories I want to share. I’d love to hear yours.

1. Despite being a huge 90s Nintendo household we somehow never had any version of Mario Kart. However my cousin had an N64 it was a great bonding time for us to play MK64. And then my little sister would cry every time she lost… lol

2. The summer after high school I lived walking distance to my 2 friends. None of us had cars or money. My one friend had a Wii, 3 controllers, Mario Kart Wii, and AC. We spent hours upon hours upon hours in her living room playing all summer. It was SO fun.

3. We got MK8 on the Switch when it came out. My daughter was 2 and couldn’t speak well. She thought it was called “Mario Kart Weeeeee” because that’s what she thought Mario was saying when you turned the game on. So every time we played her little voice would say “Mario Kart Weeeeeeeeeee!!”

I’m a pretty intense KO player but my teenager wants to play split screen with me. I’m just curious if it’ll help (or hurt) my points if they play or would they get their own? I never play 2 players online so not sure how it works!

I cannot seem to figure it out. Eg. I play Knockout mostly I’m hovering around 7000. After a bad game I drop down to 6880 ish but it takes me a a few good games in a row to get back up. What contributes to it?

This game is driving me crazy. I see people do the craziest shortcuts but in some maps all it takes is for me to take a turn too wide and I’m suddenly out of bounds. It’s getting so frustrating because I can recover easily if the game would just let me! Especially in the one, I can’t remember what it’s called I played it last night, I swear I just was on the shoulder of the road and it was out of bounds.

I’m still learning the routes and shortcuts but some aspects of this really make me crazy lol

Which do you prefer? I’ve been exclusively playing Knockout because I don’t like how quickly the races go. However I’m bored of playing the same rally’s all the time. Curious what people play more often? And why?

Hi all, new to Reddit.. I love playing Knockout online and I feel like I’m developing some decent strategies. Reading this sub is making me realize there are so many more mechanics to this game than I realized!

I tend to play the same tracks a lot and I hate them because I do well and I’m sick of them. How are the ralleys chosen? Are they difficulty based and player level? I’m sitting around 6900 which is usually the highest in the grouping I play with but again this sub is making me realize it’s not that high. lol.

I tend to play DK or Bowser on the Cute Scoot or Locomoto…. I didnt realize there were different specialties for different courses. Feeling dumb so I’m going to research combos a bit more.

Any advice to get me movin’ up in the world is greatly appreciated!
