Bizygomatic width does not significantly change after MARPE.

> Bizygomatic width remained stable after expansion in both groups.

Mean MARPE expansion: 8.3 mm

Before: 143 mm

Immediately after expansion: 144 mm

After 6 months retention: 144 mm

I've seen people wonder whether their bizygomatic width would change after MARPE. The answer is: not significantly.

Is it common to have a functional rhinoplasty during jaw surgery?

I need a septoplasty and graft work like nasal valve and tip grafting.

Can you usually get that done during jaw surgery?

Tried recording something 2 nights in a row. It never records the full thing. From a 2 hour show, it will only record the first 15-30 minutes? Not a storage issue.

Has anyone else stopped "living" after the pandemic? It feels like my life just froze.

6 years, literally no progress. It feels like the lockdowns did a number on my mental health permanently.

Chances of successful skeletal expansion in 30 year old man with custom MARPE?

Normal MARPE seems a complete waste of time for any man over 30, but do custom MARPEs have a high chance of success?

Is there a routine to fix tight and weak pelvic floor muscles?

I'm not able to see a physio but I have an EMS and EMG Biofeedback machine, a vibrating pelvic wand, and a bunch of gym equipment.

I'm trying to figure out what to do.

Any help is appreciated. What worked for you?

I feel old, how does any of this work?

I've had a read on this sub and I understand there's a website called g2g where you buy subscriptions and you get a code or username.

I was looking at tivi one, it looks pretty cheap, £20 for a year and you get a bunch of channels.

I wanted to try that. So I buy a sub on g2g and then I get a code. And is there an app on firestick or something where I enter the code? I've only found a tivi one app on apple store.

Is there a different app? Do I need apple TV instead?

Also to use any of this do I need a VPN or is it as simple as:

- Download app

- Buy sub

- Get code

- Enter code on the app

- Watch

Any help is appreciated, just trying to not get scammed

Decompensation dilemma. Lip size.

I had braces as a teenager and my bite is pretty good, it looks good, it's functional but obviously it's compensated. Nothing extreme but you can see that both my upper and lower incisors are slightly tilted forwards.

I need surgery for sleep apnea + aesthetics.

All the surgeons I've spoken with said they could perform a surgery-first and then minor tweaks orthodontically post-op.

I've seen a few orthodontists and they all said the same thing, surgery-first is fine but they can decompensate my teeth if I prefer.

My concerns are aesthetics related:

- I like the size of my lips, I don't want smaller lips. Decompensation would flatten them and surgery is very unpredictable - some people get bigger lips, some people get smaller lips. So this makes me think no decompensation is the best option to preserve lip size.

- I'm worried no decompensation would make them advance my maxilla more than necessary and I'd look weird.
