This is the address to the camera shown in the video:

701 Hopewell Church Rd, Winston-Salem, NC 27127

How can a city council AND city police department not know there are Flock cameras in their city?

They Think WE Won't ORGANIZE. Share These Pamphlets!

This pamphlet has a front and back side. Make sure your margins when printing this is uniform and shrink to fit is selected. fold the pamphlet in half with the front side showing, then fold it again so that the title page and change.org QR code is showing. The pamphlet includes a variety of information, I tried to add as much as possible but I wasn't able to add all the sources I found.

Here are the sources I included on the pamphlet:

Petition

I want anyone who has not signed this petition to sign it right now. If you actively look at this subreddit, there is no excuse for you to not sign. It takes a few seconds to do real activism on a petition, and I only ask that you practice the things you claim to believe. Do it for your family, for your friends, for everyone who is unsafe from the abuses of this technology.

Spider-Man Pro-ALPR Rhetoric

Disney is normalizing ALPRs with superheros. The moment is brief but think about it, even Spider-Man is using cameras to track criminals, so how could it be bad? But it is bad. I will not be watching Spider-Man: Brand New Day in theaters over this.

Thank you Apex. Last night we packed the chamber, showed up against ALPR, and the Axon drone software contract got pulled off the consent agenda.

What a great night for privacy and government accountability. This is what we covered:

Someone laid out the data security problem: Apex has already been breached once, the sign-up system in the room that night was leaking data, and this is the same town we're trusting to safeguard millions of plate scans. Someone else walked through how our Flock network shares data with over a thousand agencies across the country, and how federal access keeps happening through side channels even after we were told it wouldn't. Someone made the financial case: these vendors embed themselves into a department, make themselves feel indispensable, then raise the price year after year while the money that could go to parks and roads goes to them instead. Someone brought the algorithmic angle, how this data feeds predictive policing tools that recycle past bias into future decisions. And someone took apart "nothing to hide, nothing to fear" better than I've heard it done, that we all hold information back to protect the people we love, and that concentrating everyone's movements in one place is the danger, not the safeguard.

I especially want to thank Steve Burke, who came out and spoke. Steve runs Gamers Nexus, one of the biggest tech channels on Youtube, and he stood up as a neighbor and broke down the security failures in plain terms. Having someone with that depth in the room mattered. Thank you, Steve.

Here's where things stand. The cameras are not gone. The way we keep winning is the way we won last night. We show up. We speak for ourselves. We don't delegate it to someone else.

If you were there, thank you. If you weren't, the next meeting is your turn. deflockapex.org has everything.

And to Council, the movement is growing, organizing, and we're not stopping until you remove all of this technology.

Sheriff Ross Teeple Is An American Hero For Standing Up To ALPRs

Sheriff Ross Teeple announced to Pinal County council members that he would not continue the contracts with ALPR companies. This man, despite being a Sheriff, is not only removing the common argument of "We need this to do our job." from his language, not only advocating against it based on vulnerabilities and 4th amendment concerns, but actively looking into the ALPR venders the county has and canceling contracts based on ethics. Pinal County is lucky to have this Sheriff, and every Sheriff should follow in Sheriff Teeple's footsteps.

Posters For Axon Protests!

I thought that Axon should get the same treatment I gave Flock with poster designs. There's a lot of variety here so hopefully you find one you like and that will work for your local protests. The taser drone is actually a concept render so the real Axon taser drone may look different. Be ready to explain the Carbyne acquisition and Axon 911 if you use the Tel Aviv poster.

Axon HQ and Scottsdale

Scottsdale Arizona did not want a massive headquarters in their small town. There was significant community pushback. The first news piece im showing is of the opinions from both sides of the argument.

Axon CEO threatens to leave AZ amid HQ controversy | FOX 10 Phoenix

The next piece is of Axon becoming upset by the talks with the city council on how to build the apartments for the headquarters. A bill in Arizona was passed that would bypass the city.

Axon Goes Ahead With Scottsdale HQ Plans After Fallout With The City | FOX 10 Phoenix

The next piece has a few more perspectives.

Axon No Longer Working With Scottsdale As It Continues Plans For Headquarters

The City of Scottsdale approved a compromise for the headquarter's plans. Citizens continued to object to the proposals.

Scottsdale City Council approves compromise plan to allow Axon to build headquarters

TAAAZE, the group mentioned in the first news piece, has more recently filed a lawsuit against the bill that goes around the city.

Lawsuit challenges Axon Scottsdale headquarters bill

This chain of events clearly shows that Axon is no different from companies like Flock. They call the citizens unreasonable and give them no ability for recourse. The tragic case of Scottsdale is a foreshadowing of how Axon and other ALPR manufacturers will treat public dissent. Anyone planning to do business with them should know their history before making a final agreement or giving any money for projects.

Axon Is Making Taser Drones That Will Act On AI

According to Billionaire Newsroom, Axon CEO Rick Smith is actively researching and developing "non-lethal operational effects" for their new drone lineup. One such technology includes tasers attached to drones. It will be powered by AI to act instantly and indiscriminately.

Axon Advances AI and Drone Technology as CEO Outlines Vision for Non-Lethal Intervention Systems

Video Version Of The Same Article

This is an invasion of our rights. AI is a new race separate from human beings and giving them this sole power raises ethical alarms. While AI may one day become conscious and on that day be granted rights, we should not allow our own liberties to be taken into the hands of AI alone, especially in split second responses.

A person reading these things may be reminded of RoboCop, where AI malfunctions lead to several innocent fatalities. Some of those fatalities were executives demonstrating the products. This is too far, America is turning into a military state at the hands of big corporate interest groups, much like OCP in RoboCop.

RoboCop (1987) ED 209 Malfunctions Out of control (1080p) Full HD

RoboCop 2 - OCP's Failed Robots - 1080p

This can not, should not, under no conditions be allowed to happen. No crime warrants the unrightful implementation of these technologies on innocent civilians or even guilty civilians. We do not live in Nazi Germany, we do not live in communist China, we do not live in Soviet Russia, we do not live in North Korea, we live in the United States of America where our rights are constitutionally protected.

This is our country, and we elect the leaders, the leaders do not elect us. It is our tax dollars and not the politician's or the corporation's. It is our streets, not the police's. It is our life, our liberty, our pursuit of happiness. Now, more than ever, is a time to stand up against tyrants.

"Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety." -Benjamin Franklin

Littleton Turns off Flock Cameras to review Constitutionality May 12th. PD finds Cameras SECRETLY REACTIVATED by Flock without Notice, and City Votes to Permanently Remove All Flock Cameras

The cameras in Littleton were temporarily deactivated May 12, “to allow the Select Board and municipal staff time to review the technology, better understand the available system features and operational capabilities, and evaluate policy considerations before any future decisions are made,”

Source: https://www.lowellsun.com/2026/07/31/littleton-claims-flock-reactivated-its-cameras-without-notifying-the-town/

According to a town update published July 30, Select Board Chairman Gary Wilson requested that the Littleton Police Department verify the status of the town’s Flock Safety camera system. During that review, officials found that five cameras installed on Littleton public ways had been reactivated by Flock Safety without notifying the town.

After learning the cameras had been reactivated, the Select Board directed the Littleton Electric Light and Water Departments (LELD) to disconnect power to each device. LELD later confirmed that all affected cameras had been powered down.

The Select Board also instructed Town Counsel to begin terminating the town’s contract with Flock Safety and directed the town administrator to coordinate with the Department of Public Works to remove all six cameras installed on public ways.
