Where can I play tether ball?

Is tether ball still a thing 😂 I've not seen one in a couple of decades. Do they still exist and if so, are there any in Rochester lol. TIA!

Can anyone tell me what this dry, flakey skin is? (This is embarrassing)

35F, no drinking or smoking. Mounjaro, Lamotrigene, lithium and Caplyta.

I don't know when this started but it's been at least a year. Down in my pelvic region I've got patches of dry and flakey brown spots or like plaques. A lot is on my labia but also in the surrounding area.

I'm including a NSFW photo of it (censored). The red spots/inflammation are from compulsively tweezing my body hair. I shave though so I don't know if maybe it's that causing the brown spots.

Lotion doesn't help it go away. I tried glycolic acid for a few weeks and that didn't do anything. I tried otc anti fungal and that didn't do anything.

I don't know if it's relevant or not but I lost 100 lbs over the last year and a half. Don't remember if it was there before the weight loss.

If we have something in common message me and tell me what! I won't respond if you don't provide a photo.

Dogs tongue has chronic dry spots that are turning black

12 M Chihuahua with no medical conditions. He got all of his teeth pulled a few years ago so naturally his tongue slips out of his mouth all the time. I try and push it back in so it's not chronically dry but little black dry spots have formed and I'm wondering what I should do. I'll post a photo in the comments but it's not the normal/natural black melanin spots that dogs develop on their tongues sometimes. When I search online that's all I can find info about. Not about the dryness spots. Any advice?

Black spots on my Chi's tongue from dryness

This is Charlie. He got his teeth out a few years ago so naturally his tongue falls out of his mouth all the time. Often times I try and push it back in his mouth but he's developed these spots from the chronic dryness. Can anyone give me info about it? Everything I've searched online is showing the (natural) black spots that are on their tongues sometimes. Not from dryness.

Where do you hang opaque pieces?

I just got these blueberries in the mail today to add to my collection. Everything I have is transparent/sun catchers. I've never had an opaque piece and I'm not sure it looks very good in the window as it's not transparent.

Do you guys hang them other places? Like a wall or suspend them somehow (not in a window)? I don't really have ideas.

Is there any hope for this?

My cat is a jack*** and was clawing at this sweater I have. It's my favorite sweater cause it has mallards on it. Is there any saving this besides just trimming off the fuzz from the clawed parts she ruined?

Is same day pick up not an option anymore?

I tried on both the web browser and the app. Everytime I try to add an item to my cart and check out, it says the item is available in store for pick up. Then when checking out it says my order will be ready a week from now.

Is there a specific thing I need to do to get it same day?

Struggling to figure out how to attach these

Hi everyone, I purchased these unicorn earrings awhile ago and they're handmade. Both of them fell apart, the unicorn detached from the earring/post.

I tried using tacky glue (one that works on plastic) and it didn't work and was a whole mess. I still can't get it completely off of the part where it attaches. And trying to glue it and make it stay while it dries was really difficult and didn't work.

Looking for advice on the best way to re attach them? I think it's supposed to attach at the very base/point of the heart but I have no idea how I'll get that to stay while drying.

How do I not feel so overwhelmed when starting to train?

I paid for a consult from a trainer. I've known her for 6 years, we used to work together and then just follow each other on Instagram.

I had a 2 hour call with her and gave her a lot of info about my goals. She gave me a 12 week plan incredibly specific to me/my goals. She even gave me a meal plan that includes some foods that I like. She gave me a split with specific lifts to do and took into consideration some health limitations I have...a back injury, osteoporosis and arthritis now.

I got it 2 weeks ago and I'm just struggling to start it. I'm going to the Olympia in Sept so I'm really motivated to do it and I wanna get shredded and look good when I go. It's just all so freaking overwhelming. I didn't want to go back to her and talk about it yet and wanted to see what people on here say.

Trying new lifts isn't hard but it's still stuff I have to figure out on my own, I've got a bunch of new foods/recipes I have to try (and if I end up not liking that then what do I do), figure out how to stay consistent and meal prep. I have to track all of my calories and macros which means weighing out everything I eat now, she gave me a list of ~7 supplements which I have to buy and start taking on top of the 7 pills, multivitamin and viactive that I already take/day. Track all my steps, weigh myself (wouldn't be a problem if I didn't already get body dysmorphia from all this).

I'm a total newbie kind of. I've been lifting for ~a year now. I've made good progress (pics in profile if you're interested in major weightloss transformation) but now transitioning to this is a lot. I understand the commitment needed and I understand that this is just the nature of how things go, if I want to reach my goals. I just feel shitty that I've been avoiding starting the plan for 2 weeks cause it feels like so freaking much. All at once. For someone that's new to having structure as well as restrictions with food/calories etc.

I'm not even trying to compete. I just want the physique I've got a goal for before Sept but even if I don't meet that goal I'll still be happy with myself as long as I see myself progressing between now and then!

Help? I'd appreciate literally anything encouraging right now.

r/bipolar is such a shitty sub

Like WHY??

Because I commented w an Amazon link for a pill case. Why does that sub suck so much? I'm sure I'm on my way to getting banned 😐

Edit: I don't understand why I need to clarify this but people are so hung up on it. My issue isn't because my link was specifically Amazon. My issue is that they removed my comment for responding to OP with a link which happened to be an Amazon link to a pill case and I'm venting about my opinion which is that I don't appreciate that community and I think it sucks. My question specifically in this post was "Why?? Why does that sub suck so much?" not "why did they remove my link." It was rhetorical. I answered my own question in the second line of this post 🤦🏽‍♀️

This is a weird request....what is something I can make for a bodybuilder?

I'm going to an event in Vegas in Sept and gonna meet 2 of my favorite pro bodybuilders. I'm trying to think of something small and handmade that I can gift them but I have no idea what. Maybe something cool relating to their career/shows they've won? Or something related to weightlifting? Or measurements of the muscles they're known for?

I'm open to trying new crafts and I have plenty of time to experiment and make something before Sept. Currently I've got experience with:

Mosaics, stained glass, handmade greeting cards, cross stitch, embroidery, scrapbooking and papercraft

Not interested in: chain mail, blacksmithing, wood burning, leatherwork.

I'll also say that these are for men (and they compete in the open division)

I'd love to hear your ideas!! TIA

Anyone into weightlifting and/or bodybuilding? 34F looking for friends

34F I'm in Rochester. Got really into weightlifting last year and interested in following pro bodybuilding the last few months. Looking for someone to connect with and maybe hangout/workout together if the vibe is right. Id also love someone to go to the Olympia with!

Pics in profile and I've got 12" biceps 😉😆

I've felt horrible and unmotivated but finally returned to the gym for the first time in 3 weeks

I got broken up with by a guy who I really bonded with over weightlifting. I got into bodybuilding cause of him, we'd talk about professional bodybuilders and he taught me a lot. I've been sad, unmotivated and heartbroken and I have no friends interested in weightlifting or talking about bodybuilders with me. I was really looking forward to the Olympia but now I don't have anyone to go with.

I finally went back to the gym yesterday and did a good workout. Being around people there rather than isolating felt good at least and taking my progress photos has helped me feel better. I'm still sad, but at least I've got 12" biceps 🤷🏽‍♀️ Lee Priest reposted me on insta so that also made my day💪🏽

Horror movies, documentaries, museums, STEM, antique and thrift stores, creating art/crafting, true crime, music, videogames, eating food and long drives. I've got 0 interest in discussing religion or politics though.

34[F4M] Minnesota or anywhere online Anyone going to the Olympia? Let's meet up

Okay I know this is kind of out there and the Olympia isn't until Sept but I think it would be really cool to talk to someone and maybe meet up!

I'm just an amateur about it but I don't really have any friends that are into bodybuilding. I want to go to the Olympia but am trying to decide if I should go alone or not

Anyway, other interests include: weightlifting, crafting/making art, going to museums, horror movies, documentaries, true crime, sarcasm, dark humor, antique shops and thrifting.

I'm really sarcastic and have a morbid personality so don't be easily offended. Pics in profile.
