I'm 22 and my family is so stressful to live with. They argue with each other every single day, about major and minor things. Unless I can find an activity to fill my days SOON, I'm stuck with them for the foreseeable future. What should I do?

I have two part-time jobs, but they're both remote and neither of them pay much. I have an associate's degree in liberal arts and I'm working toward a bachelor's degree in communications, but I don't know if that's enough to get me a job right now.

Who do you think is the most adorable cartoon character of all time?

My pick is Thumper from Bambi. He makes me go "D'awwww!" every time he appears on screen. (Though I will admit, Bambi himself is adorable too.)

Plasma Sings Her Dream Roles From 'Guys & Dolls,' 'Hello, Dolly!' & 'A Little Night Music'

As a theater kid, I've always had a soft spot for queens with musical theater backgrounds, and I love BroadwayWorld's "So Cast Me Already" series, where musical theater performers sing songs from the roles they dream of playing.

(Also, I'm gonna need the production of Guys & Dolls Plasma suggests - with drag queens as the female characters and butch lesbians and/or drag kings as the male characters - NOW.)

Sometimes I wish I could go back in time and be a BFA musical theater student.

It seems like attending a musical theater BFA program (such as University of Michigan, Boston Conservatory, University of Cincinnati CCM, etc.) is the only way young actors who don't have prior connections to the entertainment industry are able to book any kind of work (I know the University of Michigan program has an agent showcase at the end of senior year).

(Full disclosure: I'm 22, I was a theater major in college at a school that's not known for giving its students industry connections. Since college and in between semesters, I've studied at several non-college acting studios. I learned a lot, but training alone is not enough to even be able to audition for things. Most of the theater auditions near me are Equity-only.)

In an alternate timeline, Do The Right Thing could have filled up the entire Best Supporting Actor Category at the 1989 Oscars.

Obviously, Do The Right Thing should have been nominated in more categories than it was (it only got nominations for Best Original Screenplay and Danny Aiello's performance).

In addition to the categories it should have been nominated in (to name a few: Best Picture, Best Director, Best Cinematography, and Best Original Song for "Fight the Power") all of the actors (other than Spike Lee himself, sorry) give such strong performances.

The five actors pictured above (along with Ruby Dee - it would have been very cool if she'd gotten a Supporting Actress nomination) stood out the most to me when I watched this film for the first time. (Giancarlo Esposito and John Turturro were just starting their on-screen acting careers, and they were already turning out powerhouse performances!)

Obviously, no single film has ever filled up an entire acting category, but this is a fun what-if to think about. Who would you give the win to? I know I'd have trouble deciding.

Disneyland Pictures that Give Me a Mental Break from My Stressful Life: Part 3!

My trip was in August 2025. Some people think that's too early to put up Halloween decorations, but I say it's never too early.

(Here's part 1 and part 2, for those who are curious.)
