Hi, all. I've got a top floor 1-bedroom apartment at River/Craycroft with two balconies with an incredible southern view (you can see it from both the bedroom and back balcony!!) that I'm looking for someone to take over the lease on, starting possibly in July, if not then for sure August, to run through Memorial Day 2027, perfect if you're an incoming student or looking for a place to wrap up that last year before commencement. Rent is typically less than $1100 a month (water is included in rent so obviously personal usage will fluctuate the final price each month but I've never paid more than $1100) plus access to all the complex amenities (I've been a resident of Hilands since pre-Covid hence the much lower rate than if you'd move in there right now). It takes less than 20 minutes to get to and from UofA since I worked there for 4 years while living in the apt so quick access to campus if that's something important to you!
I've been incredibly happy living at Hilands but am buying a house so it's time to move on, as much as I'm going to miss the view. If you're interested, hit me up and we'll talk specifics!
EDIT: If you're looking at floor plans on the Hilands website, it's plan 'A1', but with a 2nd balcony attached to the bedroom (apparently those current models are all rented at the moment). So it's the 'A3' plan but with the 'A1' kitchen/bathroom layout.
Now don’t get me wrong, I really want the new Zoom to be something special. However, after multiple delays, a revamped ride system, as well as removing planned decor in the queue design and still no definitive opening date with Memorial Day coming up next weekend, is anyone else worried the new Montezooma’s Revenge is going to be a letdown once it finally opens?
After last week’s video of the small quail family that’s visited, I came into the office this morning to find they returned and brought another quail family with them!
And while I was getting the video, a desert cottontail decided a photobomb was appropriate.
I’ve been feeding the quails behind my office for a few months, hoping they would eventually bring their babies. They showed up yesterday morning and I got this video from my office window 🥰
A big storm came through and didn’t have a chance to wash my cat’s nose prints off the window before getting this pic 😁
