what animal could this sculpt by Sean Cooper of Paleocraft fame be?

my first guess was some kind of amphicyonid but, it's not burly enough to be Amphicyon itself and it's not slim enough to be any of the other ones

this is probably a stupid take but

I wish Planet Zoo had (or more accurately, Planet Zoo 2 will have) a version of the Safari LTD figurines to place in gift shops, they're extremely common in high-budget zoos and other AZA accredited facilities (which is clearly what the game is intending you to build)

[OC] a sketch I made of 8 groups of alien for a alien hunting game

I'm a total newbie to alien design so I'm sorry if these are frustratingly basic.

Finworms are worm-like animals that seem to be CarnoV-6122010's equivalent to Earth's fish, having quite basic anatomy and exclusively inhabiting water, of course, due to the terrestrial nature of humans, not much is known about these creatures.

Frogcrabs appear to be among the planet's oldest group of terrestrial aliens. Frogcrabs are named for the powerful legs for jumping that are tucked underneath a segmented carapace, not all frogcrabs have jumping legs, but it's wide spread among the genera in this group.

Space Shrimp are named for their uncanny resemblance to shrimp. These aliens aren't very active, implying a cold-blooded metabolism, but unlike Earth shrimp, CarnoV's Shrimp can be deadly in the worst case scenarios of an encounter, especially the marine genera, speaking of which, Space Shrimp seem to only be granted large sizes in marine habitats.

Megapinchers are eurypterid-like aliens with chelicere that have fused into disproportionately large jaws for capturing and dispatching prey, while the typical build is that of a semi-aquatic ambush predator, megapinchers with other builds have evolved.

Legwings are spider-like aliens and, as the name suggests, 2 pairs of their legs have evolved into wings. most of them are small but a legwing large enough to attempt predation has been discovered. while they don't build webs like Earth spiders, legwings seem to use silk to keep their nests together.

Terribe Bugs are the dominant group of aliens on CarnoV-6122010, filling several ecological niches at various sizes in tropical climates. there's more to say about them but it's going to be cut short for the sake of brevity.

Handfaces are weird, having prost-cranial anatomy resembling armless theropds, but with heads like cephalopods and the majority of them have fur like mammals. the Terrible Bugs don't rule the planet with the same iron-fist as Earth's dinosaurs, which the Handfaces seem to have taken advantage of, as something in their biology greatly prefers cold climates to warmer climates, so naturally, they are primarily found in the polar regions of the planet.

I was looking at concept art for Jurassic Park (1993) and, what ceratopsian did they accidentally draw here?

I'm getting Chasmosaurus or Pentaceratops out of these but there's a chance they could be some obscure shit like Anchiceratops or Arrhinosaurus. *of course Google is being unhelpful because it's useless for dinosaurs*

what's the biggest a terrarium can get before just being a tropical house?

like, how big can a terrarium get before just being an entire building itself?

I'm losing my mind looking for a Music video

years ago, I saw a Japanese (I think) music video, it used multiple mediums of art, I don't remember what all happened but I remember some live action gloved hands tearing a lil' paper man's organs out, they were music instruments and there was a bunch of 2D animated cats with wings playing the instrument organs. *there was also a Trogdor looking ass dragon in there*

I was making a game inspired by Donkey Kong, HOW DID I GET HERE-

hi, I'm a small artist, and some time ago, during the Donkey Kong hiatus, I had an idea for a game inspired by Donkey Kong Country, after 1 and a half drafts, I came up with a game I'm nicknaming "The Jungle Guardians", it a 3D platformer with 4 playable characters the player can switch between, a grumpy f*ck Crocodile named "Zauron", a gruff and tuff Armadillo with a kind an genuine side named "Ankylo", a confident, thrill seeking Vulture named "Teryx" and a jungle fairy who has to be their wrangler, named "Rosetta", after making the NPCs, enemies, the main bad guy and a little bit of lore, I came up with a name for the rainforest this whole thing is set in, "the Rumble Jungle" now, I could've stopped there but my dumbass maxed out my World Building stat and near immediately put thought and typed down those thoughts on the ENTIRE PLANET they're on.

the very first Country I've thought up was, an entirely transgender country (inspired by those "what country is this flag? 🏳️‍⚧️" memes), it doesn't have a name yet but I already have some idea of what the place is like, a pleasant temperate grassland with calm farmland, the people there speak with Swedish accents, the national animal is a shark (y'know like Blahaj), it's the first place in this world to figure out medication for transition, every queer identity is accepted and respected, and the only harsh thing about it is winter (it fooking wimdy).

how do you prefer to organize animals in your parks?

Do you like to organize your animals by chronological order?

Do you like to organize your animals in dedicated continent areas?

or do you like to make anachronistic parks?

I'm interested in how the community orginizes their parks :3
