Botched my romas while transplanting… any ideas on how to help it?
First picture is of them now after I transplanted them, the second is the pot they were in.
While I was transplanting them, one of the main stems broke off. It had 5 green fruits that were blushing. The main stem you see is also broken but still intact enough to be whole.
This is my very first time planting and growing tomatoes. This is also my very first time transplanting them.
The reason why I transplanted it is because my sungolds were sucking up 90% of its energy and water.
Anyone have any advice for me about this? Like what should I do with the break in the stem? Should I tape it up? Tie it? Or simply leave it? Should I try again with a bigger pot? Should I put it somewhere else so it gets more sun? How much water should it get? Do I just water it normally or give it a bit extra or less? I’m all ears if anyone can answer these questions. I would love to hear what y’all think.
