Proud parent moment. My child has grown. Tell her she’s beautiful!

I gaze at my monstera for a good minute every day when I get home. Highlight of my day really.

Silly me saying “I will never be a plant parent. That’s way too much work” about a year ago.
I have 19 plants now and I’m working toward more whoops

Should I swap from Apple to Samsung?

People always say Samsung is superior, and suddenly I want to try it. The only thing kinda stopping me is that my family uses Apple and there’s multiple group chats I’d miss.

Did I flinch too much?

The gun owner told me that it jams easily if the firearm tilts too far back, so I pointed it downward to account for that. It didn’t jam, but I shake so much when firing. And I feel like I didn’t steady well enough for the kick back.

How do I prevent the shaking and brace better so I don’t flinch so much?

I tested a semi automatic rifle. I was scared. But it was fun.

I guess you could say I am scared of guns. But I went to a range for the first time in a while, and I did have fun! I chose to test out a .22 because I’m a wimp. One of the folks I went with chose a select fire rifle. I decided to fire it once and it wasn’t nearly as bad as I was thinking! I was expecting more force but it barely felt like anything at all while firing.

I came out of the experience wanting to buy a .22 but I’m not sure.

Very offended no one warned me about the bruxism

When I received Citalopram, I got the spiel of common side effects. Did my time with those. I guess bruxism is not so common. I grind my teeth in my sleep already, but it’s so much worse now! I’ve ground new paths into my mouth guard. My jaw is tense often. I have to consciously remind myself not to clench sometimes. Crazy stuff. My jaw trembles as we speak

The NP thinks I should raise my dosage too!

Chuck roast vs London broil as pot roast?

Listen, I had every intention of getting beef chuck roast to make pot roast when I went to the store yesterday. Except the chuck roast was nearly $50 and the London broil was half that.

So my plan is a Dutch oven pot roast. Sear the meat first. Remove from pot. Sear onions. Add beef broth, red wine, au jus packet, thyme, rosemary. Add meat back in. Then braise in the oven for 3ish hours.

How does that sound? I welcome recommendations.
