What should I do...

I know I've been venting a lot lately, but I'm sorry, I just have to get this all out. Today was a bad day. To put it mildly. I had a really heated argument with someone very close to me, and I'm really upset about what they said. So, thinking I might find something positive on Reddit, I started scrolling. They released a new chapter of Grand Blue (Chisa's Source). Why do they always come out when I'm having a bad day??? But, for some reason I can't understand, I thought, "Maybe it'll make me feel better..." even though deep down, I knew it wouldn't.

And, oh, shocker, now I feel WORSE.

I'm not going to say what happened, but I didn't feel (I still don't feel) comfortable at all just thinking about what I read. I even left the official server.

Now, someone there will probably want to ask me why I left and/or what I thought of the chapter. If I lie and say I liked it, I'll feel bad. If I say I didn't like it, I feel like they won't stop until they know why. And if I just don't say anything, the situation will be super awkward. The same goes if they ask me why I left. I don't know what to do.

Sorry if this was a long vent. Just for your information, no, Chisa's not leaving.

How can I post chapters more frequently?

A few minutes ago, I glanced at one of my stories... and realized something... I haven't updated it since April. And I felt like my mind was saying, "Wait, WHAT?" And I started thinking...

My first serious attempt at completing a story was back in 2019. I vaguely remember that at first, I was posting once a month, maybe even every two weeks. But from then on, I started taking longer and longer to post chapters. Eventually, I finished that story, but I haven't been able to post consistently since.

I'm sure many will say that many people take even longer to post things. And I know others will say that I should write for myself. The thing is, I do write for myself... But, let's be honest, readers aren't going to wait forever either. And, even though I write for myself, I also want people to read the stuff I write. To be fair, I had a bit more free time back then, and that story was easier to write. (…I used the script format. Please don't laugh at me.)

What can I do to be more active? Or am I exaggerating? (If so, I apologize.)

Sorry if I use the wrong flair...
