How often do you replace the O rings/do any other parts need regular replacements?

Thinking about getting a Tactical Mod 2 or a 590A1. Do the O rings on the 1301 (or any other parts) need to be replaced regularly? Or can the gun function well without O rings?

In Xianxia novels, would there ever be a reason to not use a weapon?

Body cultivation might be one reason, for example. Why cultivate a sword when you can cultivate your entire body. Plus, once you get to high levels of cultivation, most fights in Xianxia seem to devolve into a ranged affair. At that point, why have a weapon at all? I suppose if the enemy closes in, it makes sense to have a weapon, but at that point, your body should suffice.

I do find it somewhat interesting that most novels tend to disregard the reach advantage weapons would have over a body cultivator. Especially if weapons can be cultivated in that universe.

590A1 Professional (threaded for chokes) vs Benelli M4 EXT vs Beretta 1301 Tactical Mod 2 - Most durable/reliable/long lasting of the 3?

I'm debating between getting these 3 guns. I'd be paying a gunsmith to thread the 590A1 if I get it. I've heard about some issues with the 1301, so I'm mostly leaning towards the M4 EXT or the 590A1. The benefits of the A1 is that it's 50 state legal + the extra thick barrel (which I prefer), plus it can hold 1 more round in the magazine tube.

Does the Benelli M4 EXT need any parts replaced regularly, such as the O rings and whatnot? Same question for the 1301. Also, what's the difference between the gas systems of the M4 and 1301, if anyone knows.

EDIT: I know that the 590A1 is much cheaper, which is definitely a benefit. But I wouldn't be buying this gun in the next month or 2 anyways, so I have time to save up. Cost is not a factor, therefore.

EDIT 2: Some other benefits for the 590A1 is that it has a direct optics mount and a Magpul stock, which I prefer. I've also heard the 1301 has had some QC issues, though maybe that isn't true.

Is the ballistics difference between a 20" and 26" barrel meaningfully significant? Or is the ammunition used more important for impact force?

Thinking about getting into hunting deer, not sure whether a shotgun or rifle is more ethical

I'd be hunting in Missouri, US. I have significantly more experience with shotguns, as I've been shooting trap and skeet since I was, like, 12 or so. I don't own any hunting guns as of right now. I'm pretty damn good with a shotgun, IMO (pretty much only lost competitions to the 2 guys that hunted year round), but I've admittedly never shot with slugs before.

I want to hunt deer and other medium/big game, but want to do so with the weapon that will cause the least amount of pain and suffering for the animal (as most of us do, I imagine). I grew up being taught that hunting is, not bad per se, but something to only be done when its necessary to survive. I don't really agree with that, anymore, though. I still love animals, though, and rather minimize the suffering I'd cause.

Edit: Also, are there classes I can take? I plan on calling a game warden or the conversation department and asking for advice, not sure if that's a good idea, though.

Is there any reason to get the 590A1 Professional over the standard 590A1?

Thinking about getting a 590A1, but am unsure whether I should get the Professional or the more standard version. I can get a Professional with Magpul furniture for about $50-100 more than the standard with magpul, but I was wondering if maybe getting a SKU that can accept chokes is a better option. I want the most durable shotgun that can be beat to hell and back and still function.

Haven't read translated Xianxia novels in years - are there any with consistently good prose/readability in English?

I tried rereading Coiling Dragon and nearly had a qi deviation, and IMO that was one of the better translated novels back in the day. Are there any translated webnovels that can compete with even the amateur webnovels written on RoyalRoad in terms of prose/grasp of the English language?

[Threshold] Need something cleared up - preferably by one of the Wights?

Did Lindon establish the Dragon icon? Or does he only ever use it with borrowed authority? I thought he (fully) manifested it when fighting the Weeping Dragon, but I may have been mistaken. Can Will or any of the other Wights clear this up for me, by any chance?

Edit: WE GOT CONFIRMATION! He doesn't have the Dragon Icon.

[Threshold] Can Lindon erase things in the same manner that Ozriel can?

I'm assuming he'd be capable of total annihilation, seeing as the void icon is capable of erasure and his Sage revelation was "I am the end."

Edit: Or would he ever be able to, assuming he isn't capable of doing so now.

Any reliable handheld or flexible UV/LED Lamps?

I'm not actually using the nail polish on my nails, so the standard lamps that you put your hand under don't work for me, unfortunately. Are there any lamps that are flexible desk lamps (preferred) or handheld like a flashlight that work for most polishes?

Do any companies produce plastic minis with the same level of quality and detail as Games Workshop?

I'm looking to expand into other miniature ranges, but almost everything I see is low-detail plastic or resin. I'm wondering if anyone else has high detail plastic minis. Specifically sci-fi or fantasy minis. Nothing historical.

EDIT: This is specifically for collecting and painting. I don't really play TT games that much.

Tips for managing essential tremors when handgun shooting?

My essential tremors make the normal shakiness already inherent in handgun shooting even worse. Any tips for dealing with them?

Any tips for controlling hand shake when I already have pretty bad hand tremors normally?

When using a gun with a stock, like a rifle or shotgun, I'm pretty darn accurate. I have hand tremors even when I'm not shooting, though, so handgun shooting feels damn near impossible for me. What techniques can I use to control my hands better? I'm currently experimenting with different stances in hopes that helps.

Did you choose your weapon or did your weapon choose you?

I had long considered myself a GS main, but as I've started dabbling in LS, I've discovered that I am better with it than I've ever been with GS (despite maining GS in both Worlds and all of Wilds until last month). I've since determined that I am better off as an LS main. Have any of you experienced something similar, or did you immediately click with your chosen weapon off the bat?

Is there any real difference between artificially created Necrons (canoptek, AI, etc.) and those created by the C'Tan?

Are the Necrons able to replace Nobility with AIs, or is that something limited to Canopteks? I'm aware that they can recreate facsimiles of Necron Nobility, but is there any actual difference between the 2?
