I couldn't find a recent Waze thread.

Just wondering how many here use the WAZE app in their car and how useful is it ?

In particular for things like police location reports and traffic issues (broken down cars etc).

Genuine people who came on the show genuinely to find love.

It is no coincidence that the majority of the couples who have gone on to marry and have kids are from the very early series

It is now basically influencer island and we the public are part of the problem. The social media surrounding the show is off the charts and not in a good way.

No one is willing to bet their home on any of the couples from 2026 ending up married with kids, they are so far away from that. Pretty much all will shag each other for a few months, then move on to shagging love island groupies whilst their 15 minutes of fame is still in play.

Like all of you, still gutted from the WC loss and like many of you, it is the umpteen time.

It isn't easy to win a World Cup, it is not supposed to be.

You can be a very good team and still not win.

All it takes is one other team which is just that bit better.

Let's face it, every player in the England Squad and Tuchel is a winner in life, just like Jimmy White is and Tim Henman is.

As a professional athlete, the first measure of success is financial security and every English player has that in spades, they have already earnt enough money to live well the rest of their lives.

And most have won leagues and tournaments at club level, so they are winners there.

Most have partners who are hot as hell, at the very least hot to them. They have never had to struggle for potential suitors, so they are winners in that regard too.

So one tournament, one trophy they can't win.

Sometimes it just isn't meant to be.

You can't really have proper greatest ever discussions until Littler is further through his career. He could have it sewn up within 5 years or he may give up the sport in 2 years, we just don't know.

This is to discuss the different eras.

I don't see the immediate competition of Littler being any harder than it was for Taylor or MVG

Humphries, Gian, Gezzy, Rock and Clayton are no better as a collective as Deller/Lowe/Bristow/Jocky/Bob Ando then Priestly/Barney/Part/Lloyd then prime Ando/prime Lewis/still dangerous Taylor. Add Wright and Wadey in there.

What is different is in the 80s going into the 90s, the 20th to 50th best darts player were some part timers in the pub, the 20th to 50th best darts players today are full time professionals who on their day can give anyone a run for their money, and make every round of a major tournament a full blown challenge, not warm ups for the latter rounds like they would have been for Phil back in the day.

What also is different today is the number of tournaments and tours means Littler can cherry pick what he enters a bit more. He is avoiding the Players Championships which with their short format, leaves him more open to be upset.

Taylor, MVG and Littler are all incredible players who all in their own way have taken the sport to new levels, both on the ockie and bringing eyes to the sport.

Right now Taylor is the clear GOAT purely for his longevity. Just having the willpower to compete at the top for 3 decades is beyond incredible.

If Littler wins the majority of majors in the next 5 years, so 7 years of absolute dominance, then i think he just overtakes Phil, purely on the volume of tournaments there are to win nowadays.

Look in Love island everyone is a certain level of attractiveness, no beer bellies, no muffin tops.

And high end, quality, value isn't important. You can find a good flavoured Beef rendang fairly easily, but it is the meat quality and consistency which is hard to find. A good curry, the meat should not be dry, should not have big chunks of fat, but should be moist and fall apart tender.

I used to play pool at a pretty decent level locally. In big league games, if someone from the opposition team missed a pot, the worst thing you could yell out was "he doesn't want it". That is what Messi is saying about us.

Just wondering, have a Canik handgun featured in any video games, TV shows or Movies ?

Almost through a full end to end watch, only my third so a lot of surprises in the details.

The world that Sutter created is just amazing, the characters and casting of the MC was almost perfect. And i really appreciated all of the prospects this time around, a lot more. Big Phil was the most hard done by.

The gang/criminal antagonists were also very good, from the Mayans to the Aryans (Zorbelle) to the Irish to the Chinese to Pope/August, all top notch

Law enforcement was a bit hit and miss, i think the early Hale and Unser dynamic was the best.
And Lee Toric and Lincoln Potter were a waste of space.

Look we all have opinions on Gemma. She was an important character, but overdone. For me it was very clear not only was there way way way too much Gemma, there was way way too much Gemma and Tara (scenes together).

Pretty much all of the Shield alum were a miss aside from Walton Goggins as Venus Van dam. From Dutch to Claudette to Lem all not very good in SOA (their characters).

Jimmy Smits as Nero i think saved the latter seasons, he was great.

Lyla and even Ima were great. Love the hypocrisy of Jax when it came to Ima.

It is a real shame that Sutter is on the outer with everyone, cos a First Nine TV show prequel could have great (like Power Raising Kanan is one of the stronger Power spin offs).

There are a lot of crime organisation dramas, from the majors like Sopranos and Gomorah to current ones like Mobland, but really this is the only one in the biker world (aside from Mayans).

What are some things or places or businesses in Perth that are no longer that you miss ?

For me no 1 on the list is Bernies on Mounts bay road. Great place to stop by for a burger on the way home after a night out.

Next is Planet Video in Mt Lawley. As a youngster, it had an arthouse/alternative cool vibe that no other video store had.

And i do miss seeing Holden Commodores as the most popular car on the road, and weren't you cool if you had a Brock HDT version

Every generation is going to have some of these, but in terms of nightlife, The Post Office and the Red Sea were special places for me. Highlights include a night at the post office where Blair from Big Brother made a guest appearance. After he had left, there was a club with 90% girls all horny as hell, was a good night ..... And the Red sea before it got too well known was amazing, was basically models inc on a Friday night.

Now i wouldn't say i miss it, but i remember going to Slic Chix restaurant once and got as drunk as i have ever got. Yeah i remember the food being terrible, but the girls were pretty friendly and it was an interesting night out to say the least.
