I have ginger leaning lighter brown hair (everyone calls it something different, think a little darker than strawberry blonde) and black lashes look very bad on me. Anything with a dark band looks way too strong on my face so brown extensions are my best option so I've heard BUT I can't find them anywhere!

On amazon I can't tell from reviews whether they're actually extensions and not just clusters for day use, and if they are actually light enough to not look heavy on my face. God forbid I try and find them anywhere IRL!

Where are y'all getting your brown extensions/ clusters?

I love solo camping near water and the last time I went, I took a $2 body float to lay on the water and I loved it! But I did get bored since I couldnt even take my phone out without risking it falling in 🥲

I would love to just chill on the water with a book, some food, maybe a little music, just vibe in the sun and waste some time away in nature and I cant figure out whether I should do that with an inflatable raft or an inflatable paddleboard

(I camp in my little corolla and wouldnt have the space for a foam board.)

Boards and rafts are expensive and I worry I would spend the money on one finally after wanting it so bad, and then realize the other wouldve been better

My gf(21f) and i(21f) are both on the ace spectrum, me less so, but enough to make it work. Even then, sometimes I get in a mood and try shooting shots and when they get shot down, my adhd emotional brain will sometimes get stuck on the want to feel desired and connected with her, even though sex has never been that important or deep to me past just happy chemicals.

So what are some things other people do when their partner says no?

I failed my smog and will be trying to go throw CAP to get assistance fixing it but my tags expire before id be able to have that all go through. I was told by the smog people I can get moving tags for the time it would take but I can only find one day tag info online. Anyone have links or info for me? Or did that person lie 😭

TL:DR - I found a spider in my trunk and now I wanna bug bomb my car before my camping trip next week. Should I?

I went camping a good couple months ago and wasn't very safe about making sure I wasn't bringing any bugs back into my car when I packed away all my things.

Well when i was testing better ways to lay in my car, a spider crawled on me!

I know a nature person should have a higher tolerance for bugs, I just don't like not knowing whats gonna suprise me in my car and especially when I'll be sleeping nearwhere I found the spider, I'm scared I'll find more of them.

So I wanna bomb my car but I'm worried about the safety of it all and whether I should bomb it now, closer to the trip, not at all and solve the problem a different way, or what!

My first and last car camping trip was cut short due to so much discomfort! (in my 2011 toyota corolla) So now I've compiled a budget friendly and ever evolving list to slowly build up my camping gear so I enjoy the nature, and don't drain my bank accounts!

I'm not a huge hiker, I don't fish, and I don't cook like crazy either, I just like simplifying my life for a minute and running away from the city to reconnect with nature! Good news for my pockets as it cuts down on the supplies I need.

Things I've gotten for this trip

$25 - 5 gallon jug with a dispenser - I took 5 water bottles on my last trip and found myself STRUGGLING. This way I can also rinse off my hands after getting dirty.

$13 - Window Screen - I hate bugs but love being able to breathe so screens it will be!

Things I might still get, but could do without

$20 - Lighting - Either a solar powered lantern, or solar powered string lights. My phone flashlight helped me fine last time so I can go without again if need be. I have a smaller flashlight somewhere as well so I wont be relying on my phones battery.

$20 - Foam topper - I'm small enough to fit in my backseats not completely stretched out but if I want to sprawl out and feel comfy, I'll have to get a mattress to bridge the gap from the trunk to the seats.

$10 - Knife / Hatchet - Would be handy to have but I would've been fine with a surraded kitchen knife on my last trip.

Items to get for future trips

$30 - Car Fan - It's not quite hot enough yet to warrant splurging on car fans, but the next trip will definitely need them. If I'm feeling like I can spend the money however, it might help me feel more prepared.

$50 - Cooler - I can make due with my oranges, snacks, and canned foods for now with no problem, but the cold drinks and wider food variety would be very nice for later summer!

$???? - Cooking stove - for the inevitable fire bans, it will be required for me to have a different food solution, but I can't afford first hand equipment like this so I'll be scouring marketplace until I find a good deal :)

I already have the necessities like bug spray, sunscreen, fire starter, battery, blankets and pillows, but these are some of the things I'm missing.

Yes, I know some of these are small prices to pay for big comfort upgrades but 3 $20 items are still $60 and I have savings goals and summer trips with friends that I don't want to worry about money for.

This post is mostly to show you that car camping on a budget is so possible! You REALLY don't need a million things. I went with absolutely nothing and still had 1 wonderful night, albeit a very cold and uncomfortable night.

Title says it all really. The places I'll be going all warn about bears so I know I'll need some type of defense (plus I can use it on people if I need to) but just found out you can't get it on amazon shipped in california and the only irl places I can find are charging my first born child. What else can I do to protect myself?

Im from Washington so I love being in the woods and by water but I dont really have the budget to spend $100 on a place to park my car, but im craving the woods again 🥲

Went to sly park and loved it but $80 for two nights isn't something I could do right now

I love feeling tucked away and I love water. Gimme a place to build a fire and piss and im set! I just need to be able to park near it all as ill be camping in my car 😊

I'd be down to drive 2 or 3 hours even if its a good spot!

This girl and I live together perfectly agreeing on literally everything OTHER than the temperature.

I have insomnia and temperature is one of my triggers. Ive compromised since the fall and let them keep the thermostat at 70 and I just have my window cracked and my fan on.. but as its heated up and outside is 80-90 degrees, my insomnia has gotten worse. Eventually I caved and set a schedule on the thermostat that brought the temp down to 67 from 9pm to 6am thinking nobody would notice much since statistically thats a better temperature for sleep anyways.

Unfortunately I just got a message from this specific roommate saying she is starting to get SICK because of the temperature. She walks around in tank tops and shorts and works with children. As far as ive heard she isn't compromised or anything, she just leans anemic so with all the love I have for her, I think she's just being dramatic.

Should I give in and just start taking meds again for my insomnia or should i try and convince her?

For extra info, we all have private rooms and bathrooms, shared space is usually pretty cold no matter the temp.

Our rooms are VERY small and dont regulate well if you have clothes or keep the doors shut. Im not a student but I live here because I need to save money. I dont have the space or finances for an ac unit or fancy cooling blankets and while ive been medicated for insomnia before, I always end up drowsy from either the meds or the lack of quality sleep.

I've seen it popping up in K-pop recently, lots of afro beats, dance moves, concepts. And as a white person, it's my favorite genre of music and I would love to implement it into the music I make. I just don't have a clear concept of where appreciation lives, and where appropriation begins.

My gf and i (21f and 20f) are both audhd, me more so adhd, her more so autism. She'll share annoyances and basic negative emotions but when bigger things happen, shes indifferent to me being there and doesnt want to hear me talk. If I ask her what she needs, she doesnt know. If I try to help, it doesnt work.

Like just now, something happened with her tooth like bad pain out of nowhere. It scared the fuck out of her and instead of letting me help or even just be a body near her for support, she locked herself in the bathroom and called her family.

I asked if she wanted me to come to the dentist with her and she said her aunt is coming so it doesnt really matter if i go or not.

We've been together for a year and some change but have only really considered our communication solid since January when we had a big breakthrough moment about our dynamic.

I want to help her and be a rock for her when things get hard like I want from her when things get hard for me but anything I do to try and help feels like im forcing it and not actually helping.

Will it just take more time for her to really see me as someone she can rely on and be fully open to, or should I assume that may never happen?

Her family has been pretty consistently there for her, but have also done more than their fair share of screwing her over and letting her down, so I dont understand her brain for this.

My family is similar and I took that in the "do everything myself and trust my family can never be relied on" route so I dont see her brain fully in this.

I edit videos for a dance crew I'm a part of and have been for a while now. I have to do a lot of manual stabilizing and zooms so I request we film 4k to not lose too much quality. It's been bothering me though that it never seems to actually be 4k footage when I upload it to the timeline. It asks if I want to match the timeline resolution to the clip when I upload it but then only gives it to me in 1080p, even then, the clip fits the frame. I'd be fine exporting in 1080 if the zooms and edits I did were at least good quality from the 4k footage but they arent. It's like I zoomed in on a 1080 clip.

I wouldn't be surprised if it's really just 1080 footage. In that case, where could I look in the camera settings to ensure we film in 4k, and then, could I still transfer it to my computer from our filmer via google drive without losing the 4k or would it lessen the quality?

For context im 20f make less than 30k a year and both my parents are financially irresponsible, leading me to need to get my own health insurance. When I was insured under my mom, we had Aetna. From my understanding, copay was very low, therapy was free, and medications were no more than toilet paper.

Now im needing to get my wisdom teeth out, medicated for adhd, and have an ent properly diagnose some conditions ive been told but never confirmed I have and doing all this myself im terrified its gonna break the bank.

Can somebody point me in the right direction?

I'm trying to solve an issue I've had for a while now where if I uninstall ts4, on purpose or accidentally, every time I try to reinstall it from steam rip, enough files are corrupt that make the game unplayable. Here's the problem. I can't find where my computer is keeping these saves! My sims are still there with all their memories and data, there's just enough corrupted textures that the game is unplayable. No matter what way I download and extract it, if there is a save somewhere on my computer, unzipping the folder will give me corrupt files. I want to keep this save! I put a lot of time into it. But at this point, I don't even know where my computer is hiding it to figure out how to put it somewhere it wont mess with the extraction, and then bring it back possibly.

Any ideas? I don't have a electronic arts folder like google says, and the old folder that got deleted has no game files in it anymore, and my recycling bin has nothing from the game in it.

I'm on Windows btw

My gf and I (20f & 21f) are interracial. We live in norcal and love roadtripping to different places but unfortunately we're realizing we hate the stares from old white people in the coastal towns and when there's no other poc around, even in tourist areas, my gf specifically gets a lot of stares that make her uncomfortable.

Does anyone know places we could roadtrip to where we can explore cities and relax without this? We aren't the hiker types but if the city is fun enough we can walk all day.
