Mobland series subtitles

Great series and a big production, but even basic things like **numbers** are mistranslated. Where/What are the best places to call this out?

Friend sent link to booking.com property via share button. It opens a search page.

They just want me to have a look at the property to make sure it meets our needs. I’ve searched the name of the property in the app, in a browser, with and without a VPN, and with flexible weekend, week, and month options.

How can I just get a link to the property regardless of dates? The link Google provides also sends me to a search with dates page.

Recommendations for where to start cleaning a home after returning seven months later?

Everything is musty and dusty. Even dirty in some areas. If possible, I want to avoid tiring myself out with things that can wait, like washing the curtains and windows, for example.

Do I start from top floor down, washing clothes, and preparing a soapy bucket of water and clean bucket of water and a cloth for surfaces while the clothes are in the washer? (More than) a bit overwhelmed here. Thanks for your suggestions.

Any idea why a dryer is listed as “tumble dryer” for hosts to choose under the amenities but only shows as “dryer” for guests?

Causes a bit of confusion, especially in countries where dryers are not the norm.

Why is it so hard to update and extend a stay?

When I try to update the checkout date, I get an error that nothing is available. When I make a new booking, the room is available at the same price. What gives?

Second hotel stay in Prizren without a comforter/duvet, only a top sheet

Is it normal to turn on the heat in summer? The weather is great and all I need is a blanket. The light show in the sky tonight was excellent. Just a bit cold at night. And prefer not to use any HVAC if I can help it.

Is there a breakup-while-abroad sub?

I’m not a teen, I’m not even in my twenties or thirties. And I’m not even sure I’m fully processing this soft mutual departure. Six+ years together. We really are just (the best of) friends.

How to process the change and untangle the life we’ve built together?

(There’s probably a better sub for emotional support. Appreciated recs if so)

Can you get lahana böreği in your part of the country?

Also, is a börek coma a thing? It was so hot and fresh and delicious, and an unusual flavor combo, for me, at least, that I ate too much of it.

Tight clothes? Hand wash them!

Jokes aside, I’m traveling light, didn’t book a place with a washer this time. I thought I’d give a little hand wash in the sink a shot.

My undies are now falling off my butt.

If you’ve got something too tight, maybe it’s a solution, but dang, had no idea that machine washing kept fibers together so much better. Anyway. Maybe this is more suitable for the one bag female sub, if one exists.

To hosts with kitchen(ette)s that do not supply a cutting board [Europe]

Where do you want guests to cut things?
On a plate and ruin your knives? Or on the countertops and ruin those and the knives? I’m not yet as adept at cutting a tomato or onion in my hand as some are. Just wondering what the thinking is when there is a high-end stovetop or oven or both but no cutting board.

Dear hosts, and guests, how would you want me to review this place? It’s listed as a luxury stay. There were minor maintenance issues [Europe] [Guest]

A loose toilet seat, a struggling drawer housing bins where trash is to be sorted, and the bathroom sink leaked, cascading in water onto the floor. I sent quick documentation of these issues. They were aware of the first two, but not the leaky sink.

The WiFi was spotty, which I did not experience at other stays in the area. Host suggested I switch between two networks. The host also asked for my phone number to send me the address. Before I even checked in. I replied that my number is included in my profile.

Also, on checkout day, there was a plea to leave, even though it was 15 minutes before checkout time.

I’m non-confrontational in general, but also would want to know these things as a potential guest. I am tempted not to write a review at all because I am not good at this sort of thing, thus, asking for your help in writing an objective review for future guests. I should also add that after all of this the host wrote me to thank me for taking care of the property. To which I wanted to reply, how do others treat it, like animals? I respect and appreciate the opportunity to live in a home-space, even if temporarily.

Which bird feeder would you want?

It’s for my dad to place somewhere in view from his kitchen window. There’s a patio table which would make refilling more accessible for him if the tabletop designs are OK at deterring the squirrels. Otherwise he’s have to secure it somehow from the roof/overhang to be closer to the window but squirrels could just access it from the roof. He’s in southeastern SC. Thanks for your insights.
