Which people in Michael’s entourage were considered the vultures and leeches from the 90s onwards? Those that “allegedly” Michael did not ‘want’ to part from (or was tied to not part from them)

Around the This Is It era I’ve gotten who the bad guys were. But I’m confused as to who were the bad influences that “he preferred to stay with rather than parting from”.

The above doubt stems from Lisa Marie Presley’s things she told Michael, warning him from those people, and telling him the ultimatum either it’s them or she. This would already be in the 90s, so, was he already ill-advised since then?

Also, I understand he had a good relationship with Frank Di’Leo in their first patch. But, did Michael fire him eventually? Why did he come back in the end? In the fanbase community and the community of good-faith collaborators with Michael, was he considered a good egg or not?

Could you list the names of the vultures? And explain why possibly Michael “stayed” with them?

Thank you!

What was the set list & line-up for MSG 2001 30th Anniversary Concert?

I’ve heard from people who attended the concerts that the show lasted 4 hours.

The broadcast we have on YouTube (which is a mix of the two nights) is 1 hour 22 minutes.

Anyone can chime in with the artists and songs that were performed?

Thank you!

Paris Jackson: Love, Loss, & Listening to Your Intuition (new podcast)

Apologies mods if this is not allowed here. If not, go ahead and remove.

I personally haven't listened to it entirely because I am very sick and cannot, but putting it out there in case any of you are interested. (Also, I'm not endorsing Call Her Daddy, not a fan), just sharing Paris with you out there, her wisdom and if you want to see Michael in her.

Why do you think there was little post-release press of Michael in the US?

I’m not thaaat fully acquainted with press junkets. They got a lot prior to the release, but post-release and after the billion hit and biopic milestone, I’ve only seen it covered at Kimmel (hosted by Colman Domingo), and Fallon (few seconds — interview to Colman Domingo).

I know the cast is probably super busy with their own endeavors (and pretty tired as well). But it makes me wonder how they haven’t been on podcasts or stuff like that. Thinking about it now… podcast scheduling is done months in advance.

Anyways, what are your thoughts? Regarding the obvious reason that MJ isn’t USA’s #1 preferred star.

Any footage of Michael dancing to music other than his?

Just rewatched the classic footage of him dancing and singing to Ross’ Upside Down (totally throwing it out of the park). Is there any footage of him dancing to music other than his? (And other than James Brown)

I’m dying to see him just dancing! Seeing his genius dancing.

We NEED Studio 54 footage!

Blood on the Dance Floor (HIStory in the Mix) vinyl going as for €980 on Discogs

Chances of getting ahold of a copy? Living or traveling to a city with great record stores?

Damn. My dream of having a copy has been crushed. Are we doomed or is there ever a chance in heaven?

And only 5 copies are listed!! (On Discogs).

Who else appreciates (I Like) The Way You Love Me?

So smooth and swag. Originally thought for the band Hanson.

I personally love it. I prefer his Demo though than this version.

I hope Beautiful Girl is released (and others from the Invincible and post-Invincible era)

What a beautiful track. Ahead of its time. Heavenly, embracing, ethereal.

Like Days of Gloucestershire too.

Brad Buxer says they’re amongst his favorite songs he made with Michael, along with Stranger in Moscow (also my top faves), and Will You Be There (one of my top faves too).

I really liked In the Back and Seeing Voices.

Context of Little Susie / Pie Jesu (according to Brad Sundberg)

Per this video on Brad going over the songs from disc 2 of the HIStory album, he believes the song is based on the story of a girl that perished in the Holocaust.

(I’ve seen lots of questions in the sub regarding the background of the song), and I just came across this video, so decided to chime in.

Spotify’s Beta (which might be wrong sometimes), says the inspiration is believed to stem from a painting from Gottfried Helnwein, ‘Beautiful Victim’. He’s an Austrian-Irish visual artist famously known for representing “taboo themes” such as Nazi rule and Holocaust, suffering overall.

Mood change on starting CJC/Ipa w/o DAC? Low mood, physical energy low as well

Hi all!

I just started the stack yesternight. 100 mcg of each (blend). I did feel a change in my sleep. I was able to sleep more, yet I also feel more tired physically. My mood has been affected too. The lack of physical energy is accompanied with a lower mood/less motivation/overwhelmance.

I know it’s just the first day, and I’m not drawing any conclusions for the future out of this one anecdote.

I just want to ask if this may be common at the beginning or has happened to anyone else here. Feeling low mentally/emotionally besides a drop in physical energy too. (Might be the body entering the recovery mode it needed?)

Thank you, appreciate beforehand your replies.
